Happy very last day of the event where @justlikethefish and I always rush at the very last minute to get the stuff done on our alts. Xifang’s just gonna wear whatever she wants to wear. Valentione’s Day top from one year, bottoms from another, and rabbit ears? Why not. But Saachi and Solomon are representing too! And Nym. Nym is here too. Good lil Hatching Tide bunny.

Xifang: Immediately gets her hand stuck. She’s sure she can get it loose if she just wiggles it around some more in there, but she just gets more stuck. Lat comes to help... but just gets his arm stuck too. They are trapped there until FC mates come save them. Saachi: (needs a better picture. Oh man, sorry, Saachi!) Shakes the vending machine and it probably drops something entirely different from the machine than what she ordered. Whatever it is is strange and should not have been in the machine to start with. She thinks this is a good sign and takes it happily. Liv: Probably shakes the vending machine and something entirely different falls out than what she ordered. Whatever it is is strange and should not have been in the machine to start with. She thinks this is a bad sign and leaves it behind. Malika: Probably tried to reverse theft a weird item into a vending machine that did not belong there. She also got her arm stuck. She flipped out and tried to get free anyway she could because being trapped terrifies her. She called one of her friends on her linkpearl with her free hand and told them they needed to come help her get free and to also steal the machine. She left the machine somewhere completely different... where Saachi or Liv then found it. Adelaide: Should be able to get someone to help her, but she gets ignored. That’s fine, she’ll take care of it. She then beats the crap out of the machine and when that still doesn’t work, she puts her arm up it and finds that it comes free easily. She is then chagrined she didn’t just go that route to start with. Tagging: Anyone with loads of alts who wants to do it! Actually, I am curious about what your character would do even if you only have one.

Hi! When I created this blog I also created side blogs for the other characters I play. Luck And Larceny is technically the ‘main blog’, but I love my other characters just as much. Here’s a short intro to the characters I play and their blogs! Follow them if you like! Turn your nose up in disdain if you’d like, too. (I won’t notice; you have so much power here!).

XIFANG CRIMSON (Gilgamesh)

Xifang is my oldest character in FFXIV. Actually, she’s my oldest character at all. She got her start as a Solar Exalted in the Exalted 2E tabletop roleplaying game. I love her so much that I made her again in FFXIV (and also every other video game that has a character creator).
The FFXIV version of her is more a vehicle for instigating RP than anything else. I used to spearhead fun events with her (parades, magic potions with random effects, date cafes that have a chance to go veeery poorly for some of the couples, breaking into houses, etc). She’s a typical anime villainess type character (OHOHOHOHOHO) and is just a great deal of fun to play. She’s 19, chaotic, and an absolute mess.
She shares her blog with other FFXIV content: Screenshots (of all my characters), Memes, Art, General Shitposts… It’s… It’s appropriate for Xifang.

MALIKA BAJIHRI (Balmung)

Malika got her very first roots in a Pathfinder game (Jade Regent) and now she’s here in FFXIV causing trouble. She’s an unapologetically selfish, unreliable, thief-bard with a (not so) healthy disdain for authority figures and anyone telling her what she should do or how she should live her life. She’s also a rabble-rousing, gambling, luck idolizing, hedonist. She’s 24 and baby, she’s bad news.

SAACHI MEDVYED (Gilgamesh and Balmung)

Saachi got her start in a Pathfinder game (Kingmaker) too and I made her in FFXIV as an elezen on Gilgamesh fairly soon after making Xifang. Since then she’s gone through a lot of changes! Over on Gilgamesh she’s a highlander now (and I keep waffling on keeping her that way) and when a few friends of mine migrated from Gilgamesh to Balmung, I recreated her as an Au’ra on that server so that she could keep hanging out with some of her favorite people.
Saachi is a daydreaming, hero-worshipping, ambitious, big hearted healer and one-day knight in shining armor. She runs a daycare in the Mist (where Malika sometimes hides out) and also offers free midwifery services to refugees. She’s 22 and full of nigh-endless enthusiasm and romanticism.

I wonder if you can sense a theme here? Here we go: Liv was first made for a D&D 5e campaign (Curse of Strahd). She’s got a twin sister on the server (played by another player) named Nyra. She’s a bit reticent, introverted, and insecure. She loves nature (particularly roses), animals (particularly chocobos, horses, and birds) and prefers the quiet of the woods to the noise and bother of the cities.
She’s also dangerously competent with a bow and has (surprise freaking surprise) a complicated past and a few (dun dun dun) dark secrets related to her family and its relationship with dragons.
Liv is 25 and super shy.
She, uh, is a were-raven in the 5e campaign which is the reason for the name of her blog.

For those wondering what happened to Xifang, for a brief time becoming a lalafell is what happened to her. She went on many adventures (mostly in Mist) where she tried to use her cuteness to her advantage. She tried begging for money with varying degrees of success. But it wasn't enough for her. She tried to steal a present from a snowman to sell on the marketboard, but the snowman won.
After that she decided that she didn't actually need to BE rich if she could just convince people she already was. Then she could get all the perks of high society without any of the work! She found a fancy mansion and told people that she owned it. This went well until she realized the house was locked and she couldn't take anyone inside it. Her adventures ended when the spell was broken (when I missed hyur Xifang), but she'll always have the memory of life as a lalefell and of being defeated by a snowman.
