Let’s start with the main point: From this week, Fox Spirit manhua updates will change to one chapter per week (Every Wednesday), and will continue for a month.

From the beginning of the Mu Tian Cheng battle arc, I’ve felt that my work pace has become trapped & stagnant. Thus, I spent more time and effort on planning plot details, but the more effort I put in, the worst it became. Badly developed ideas --- editing and changing the details continuously --- delays in chapter releases --- want to do even better to make up for the current turmoil --- Badly developed ideas

As the situation worsens with this vicious circle, manhua update delays became more frequent. I felt upset and demoralized. As a result, I cut off my relations with the outside world. I stopped going on Weibo, stopped hanging out with friends, I wanted to lock myself up to utterly put an end to this problem. After stopping for a while, I read through the plot from head to toe multiple times, and I definitely found some issues. 

In this arc, I have placed my effort into the wrong direction: constantly trying to find changes in the plot --- the repetitiveness has resulted in readers being tired of the constant reverses in plot, confusing and incomprehensible plot progression, having to constantly explain what is happening in the past few chapters, new incidents are being endlessly pushed into the story. I put too much into the story, the outer circle, beings in the outer circle, the relationships between humans and spirits, human and spirits and their relationship with the beings in the outer circle, the reason why DongFang and HongHong decided to fought. A greed for progression, to the point that it seemingly broke it’s previous structure. It resulted in me abandoning the essence of what I used to keep the plot going, and resulted in a lot of mistakes that would not have been made in the past.

During this period of time my work condition was not optimal, I wanted to strive and push through it, but I could not, resulting in a few problems in plot progression. At this point in time, I finally found the source of the problems. Due to the changes and transitioning period, the editor kindly requested (The editor strongly requested to add this line) for Fox Spirit Matchmaker to change to one chapter per week, and try it out for a month. We’ll look at my condition and plan out the following chapters accordingly.
