Headcannon: Language
Carmine was born and raised in Kalos. She's only recently moved to Kanto, and even though Yellow taught her Kanto's language, Carmine's not fluent.
Since she spent most of her life in Kalos, speaking the Kalosian language, Carmine will revert back to Kalosian when she's upset, overly excited or down-right angry.
She also doesn't get Kanto's jokes. She will take things very literally.
Also, she has her father's odd speech pattern. Even though she hasn't seen anything outside of Kalos, the way the Red spoke around the house to Yellow rubbed off on Carmine, so she will speak with all sorts of accents like Red does, since she's heard it so often it's normal to her.
