Newly opened!  Radiant mosaics featuring mandalas, starbursts and a winged creature greet subway riders at the just-opened entrance to the 34th Street-Hudson Yards (7) station at West 35th Street. This is the final segment of Xenobia Bailey’s masterful creation of glass mosaics at the station. The 750 sq. ft addition was timed in conjunction with the building above ground, as the new entrance will serve the growing community’s office and residential population.  In its entirety, “Funktional Vibrations”, fabricated by Miotto Mosaics, spans 3,000 sq. ft., bringing a cosmic burst of energy and joy to the station architecture.
