Vanilla made Scott think of incredibly awkward dinners and surrounded by a family of hunters that never seemed happy with him even before they found out what he was.

But it also made him think of some of the awesome desserts that Victoria made. Even though she had tried to kill him, she was still a mother. She was still a wife. A person didn't become those things by being only a crazy, murderous Kate Argent type of person.

She had a soft side. A person couldn't cook food that good without having a soft side.

He missed that soft side for Chris and for Allison.
