{ ♧ } —-;: Isobel looked from left to right as she reached what she judged to be the center of the crossroads, making sure that there was no one else around to see what was about to go down. Satisfied there was no one around she sighed slightly, and went about digging a small hole. 

                      She had been trying to find  way to save her brother for so long now, and she'd turned up pretty much jack squat but a spell that would kill her pretty much instantly, she was desperate, and thus a demon deal almost sounded preferable to that at this point. Sure, it would mean her burning in hell some time in the not so distant future, but Adam was trapped in the cage with two angry archangels, and she was pretty sure no level of hell could compare to that. She hoped that was true, at least. All she knew for sure was that she couldn't just leave him down there, and this was the least she could do for him. She had to get him out.

                      Once the hole was a couple of inches deep she pulled her already prepared box out of her bag. She opened it to check the contents, she knew there was no room for error. A picture of her; check, graveyard dirt; check, black cat's bone; check. All present and accounted for. Isobel took a deep breath, acutely aware of the fact that this was pretty much her last chance to back down. She closed her eyes before she placed the box in the hole and covered it over, and as soon as she did her heart rate increased. She was really doing this. She was really about to sell her soul. Quite naturally, she was scared. 

                      The brunette wandered away from the crossroads' center running her hand through her hair, trying to give herself a few seconds to process the whole thing before the demon arrived. She knew acting emotional was going to make her look weak, vulnerably, but she didn't much care, she was selling her soul, who didn't get a bit scared when they did that? After a few seconds she started to wonder if the demon was coming, if she'd messed up somehow, that would be embarrassing.
