Xavier’s darling is (like me) a history nut and knows about a lot of history from all over the world from reading books and watching documentaries

So when Xavier decides to start a long lecture about Colvakia’s history because his future wife needs to know these things, darling finishes his sentences and eventually takes over the lecture as Xavier sits there stunned with major heart eyes

I just know he’d be so happy and think that it was so cute that his darling already knew all about his homeland, he might even think it’s fate

This is so long, but I couldn’t help it! Inspiration struck, ya know? Also I assure you, I am working on that Tom fic!

one, his family crest i haven’t been able to find a description of it on your blog and i was wondering what it looked like. i have personally always thought of it to either have a peacock as his family has so many of them or that it’s like a moon or a star i’ve always thought that colvakia looked really pretty at night!

two, what if his darling was not originally from america but was instead from colvakia. how would he react to that like would he be overjoyed or would he just be like “i already knew that, did you seriously think i didn’t?”

I have to agree on your ideas for the crest and implemented them. Peacocks were essential for the crest as Xavier’s family has been peacock breeders for generations. (As a hobby more so, though.) Also a moon and stars seemed to be an excellent idea as their family through the dark and good times preserve. As seen by their near extinction during the USSR period. (They eventually had to flee into a neighboring country)

Now as for Xavier finding out his darling is originally from Colvakia, well in all honesty he would probably already know. But let’s pretend he doesn’t just for funsies.

“Sorry, Xavier, I can’t. I’m going to visit my babuskha and dedushka.”

Xavier practically got whiplash from how fast he turned to look at you.

“Babuskha? Dedushka? I didn’t realize you were of Colvakian descent. Or knew any Russian, for that matter.”

You simply raised your eyes at him.

“Deystvitel’no? YA iz Rossii.” (Really, I’m from Russia. [Colvakia doesn’t exist so obviously doesn’t have a language equivalent. So Rossii is just a general place holder.]

Xavier was gob-smacked, before he immediately brightened up and starting clapping his hands with a big smile.

“Vundevah! Vundevah! YA ze nal! Otkuda ty? O, mne vse ravno! My seychas pozhenimsya!” (Wonderful wonderful [ok, that was just accented English] I didn’t know! Where are you from? Oh, I don’t care! We’re getting married now!)

You merely rubbed the back of your neck. “Sorry, I don’t know that much. I think I was only 3 when we moved so my Russian was only developed so much. But I am from the Moldova area” (Note: This is in a fictional future of sorts and language has changed because of Colvakia’s spread.)

“Oh, so you’re a bit close to the capital then! This works out great! We can visit your grandparents, then we can go to my home!”

Xavier pulled you into a hug.

Right now.

If you don’t I will find your house and your new home is my basement’s pantry 😍✌🏽✌🏽✌🏽✌🏽

“You’re vanting hugs, hmm?”

Xavier’s emerald eyes shifted up towards you from the paper he was reading.

“Now that can most certainly be done. But how about ve head to the bedroom and do this properly.”

A smile appeared on his face as he unceremoniously scooped you up in his arms. As he began to walk towards your bedroom he placed kisses in your hair.

As he approached your room the guards stationed out front merely swung the doors open for you two.

Xavier ever so carefully placed you down on the downy comforter in a way so you would be slightly propped up. When finished he merely stood off to the side of the bed, his arms spread out.

“Alright my dahling, how vould you like me.”

You let out a hum of consideration before answering.

“How about you be big spoon, and I’ll be little spoon. But without me turning to the side.”

Xavier practically pounced on you as soon as you finished speaking. He quickly curled his arms around you, his head resting in the crook of your neck. One of his hands slid up your neck to your chin where he ever so slightly tilted it to meet his emerald eyes.

“Is this to your preferences? Or is there more I need to do?”

His intense, serious stare always threw you off.

“No, that’s perfect. Thank you.”

He squeezed you slightly harder as he placed a kiss on the crook of your neck.

“Excellent. As you already know, I expect nothing but the best.”

Your hand reached out to teasingly poke his delicate skin.

“Even hugs?”

This time he placed a kiss on your cheek as his grip tightened.

I know it’s been a while.. but here’s a bit of a Christmas special! I’m kinda busy with a whole lot of baking, so I just decided to release this early!

Xavier

He couldn’t believe he was out in public, wearing simply a black hoodie and sunglasses. And the hoodie up, nonetheless!

Xavier shudders at the notion but the fact is, his current attire isn’t very.. princely.

But he supposes love makes a person do crazy things.

And Xavier was far past that point.

If you ever doubt his love for you, his darling, just know he went incognito in public for you.

The occasion? Christmas shopping.

Now he obviously bought you loads of gifts but he wanted to get you something.. more personal. Something he had to go shopping for himself.

That’s what lead him to the Kate Spade store.

Today he was going to buy you your first designer bag.

This was something he wouldn’t trust any servants with. He wanted your first bag to be special. Perfect. And he had just the one in mind.

He wanted your present to be somewhat Christmassy and he believed in his spies reports on your internet searches (yes he knows everything you look up) in the past you were looking at some Kate Spade knockoffs.

So he quickly grabbed the items and walked up to the counter.

“Hello, sir, is that all for you today?”

He resigned himself to a simple nod.

“Alrighty, your total would be..”

He quickly pulled out his Centurion Amex to simply get the ordeal over with.

“Oh.. alrighty then. If I could get your signature?”

He did so in silence as well. The woman turned the screen around only to gasp at the name.

But by then he was basically out of the store.

But all the effort was worth it to see your face light up.

He got you the polar bear Kate spade bag, with matching wallet.

Avery

Avery is actually fond of Christmas since it means he can pull out the cardigans and what not. But the thing is he almost exclusively shopped online. Since he doesn’t feel comfortable going out really.

But with you guys now sharing a residence you might open up the delivery and ruin the surprise!

So he has to do something he despises. Interacting with humans. (That aren’t you, of course.)

He went into a Target for you. That’s a lot for Avery.

Now something I tend to forget about Avery is the fact that he is a major gamer. And he likes to play games with you so he wanted to get you a gift for your shared interests!

He got you a giant korok plush! (For those unaware it’s a Legend of Zelda thing)

He also might have crocheted you a lil something..

Rygel

He doesn’t really do Christmas, surprise surprise. Honestly it’s a legitmate surprise he got you anything. But his ‘Mom’ happens to be obsessed with Pinterest so made him get you something.

They just don’t have Christmas where he’s from. They don’t really do holidays in general.

For one you will definitely get a cookie box from Rygel’s ‘mom’. Like, a real nice one. (She totally didn’t just pay someone to make the whole thing.)

Rygel gets you two things. Exactly what you wanted to the exact detail. In fact something you may not have been really aware you wanted. (Don’t question his psychic abilities). His ‘mom’ also insisted on a more personal gift so he got you a star chart of the exact you 2 met. This includes the stars your planet doesn’t even know about.

Emmett

(also is his name pronounced as ex-zavier or just zavier?)

Finally, Xavier food. Also it’s ex-zavier.

Xavier totally gets the fear of being pregnant it just sounds so.. weird. But yes unfortunately heirs are needed.

His solution is adoption or possibly surrogacy. As much as he would love to adopt he fears that the child would be scrutinized for not being of their blood. If you feel self conscious about it you can just go into hiding while the woman is pregnant and just pretend.

About Xavier being invited to barbie movie premiere, I'm assuming his darling would also be invited?

And if so, would he be willing to go decked out in full glitzy barbiecore attire with them? I'm talking all hot pink clothes, gaudy jewelry, and stilettos. Because there ain't no way I wouldn't be going in full glam

(if you've never heard of barbiecore you can look it up. Should give you a pretty good feel for what I'm talking about)

It’s a general principle that if Xavier’s invited, so are you. Ooh~! A super secret war meeting? Better have you a seat! The same applies for Barbie. Even if he wasn’t given a plus one, yes he was! ;)

Also Xavier is always in Barbiecore. He wears stilettos and all sometimes. Oh, and you two have to match and go shopping together, obvi!

I feel he would kind of go for Sharpay Evans’ poolside look from High School Musical 2. But you know, not the swimsuit aspect of it.

So today I’m covering the idea of the darling stalking the yan.

Rygel

Rygel knows literally immediately. I mean he’s Rygel. He got that whole mind power thing going. But he decides to have fun with this discovery.

He’ll purposely show off some of how powers to you in order to freak you out. Just hints about his alien heritage. And since you don’t know at this point he can presume you would be pretty freaked out.

If anything this behavior encourages you. He would actually really like you to realize that he’s an alien on your own. His smart little human ❤️.

Xavier

Aw, you’re stalking him! Little do you know he has people stalking you, stalking him.

He just loves that his photo collection is updated with pictures of you staring at him! So cute!

He’ll have his guards help you out with your endeavors. Leave some jewelry on his desk on purpose and wow all of his guards are facing the other direction at the same time?

He figured he needs to help you out, since otherwise his security detail would make it impossible. You’re welcome to steal an object from him at any time.

Oh! Maybe you have a shrine! A shrine for your beloved prince! What a lovely thought.

Avery

He’s only impressed you can stalk him. Since he is literally only inside most of the time. But unfortunately for you you’ve never managed to get inside. Poor you have to climb up a tree to get a shot of him. He finds out about this behavior since some birds alerted him that some human has been hanging out in their tree.

This only enables his crow instincts and will probably drop off more random trinkets for you to ‘steal’.

Emmett

You? Stalking him? How romantic!

This makes things so much easier for him! Poor Emmett tends to be stuck in that house so you coming to him just makes everything easier for him.

Will even do poses and what no for your photos. Want him to make the lights go off? He’ll give you all the paranormal activity you want!

Aspen

You’re going to make him cry. To think that someone like you, would stalk something like him.

He’s over the moon for sure. What if you also have a shrine of him! You can be shrine buddies!

But now Aspen also worries about keeping Nibiru under control. He doesn’t want to scare you off by accidentally seeing some vines or plant tentacles. Or heavens forbid, Nibiru himself.

He very actively leaves things around for you to grab. His copy of Pride & Prejudice that is fully annotated and totally just isn’t marked up with terms such as “this reminds of (y/n)” “(y/n) would look really cute in this clothing” “oh how I wish she would say that to me”
