"Oh good, you're awake. And, just in time for breakfast. Eat up." There was no mistaking the slight grievance in her tone as she slid him a fresh bagel. With him missing dinner last night and the night before that, you could say she was a little annoyed. What good was having a boyfriend if she never even got to see him? If Cami didn't know any better, she'd think he was having his own affair with work. "The carnival's tonight. I was thinking after I stop by my mom's, I could meet you at your office and we could go together?" If he cares at all about rekindling their romance, he'll say yes.
