I already told it: I celebrated the last 100 days of secondary school in a great way. I thought I'm going to tell you a bit about my day.
Everyone was expected to be in school at 8AM, wearing a black blazer, hat and the shirt. Then we received markers and white masks, which had to cover our whole faces. At 8:20AM, we went outside, where all the people from the younger grades were waiting to be doomed by the 6th formers. Ha! After some creepy music it started: we annoyed the fuck out of those little kids by drawing on their faces with those markers, removing girl's make-up and making everyone do push-ups. One detail that makes it more sadistic: it was fucking freezing and there was a layer of ice on the ground. Have fun doing push-ups then. And when you refuse, a teacher just says "Well, she's in the 6th year and she's the boss now. Just do those push-ups!".
After that, everyone went inside and we heard some speeches from teachers and classmates. Two girls from my class wrote really a badass speech, criticizing everything in a really ironic way.
Then the preparations for lunch and the show started. A part of us, who were in the show, got dressed and got the decor ready, others had to prepare the tables for lunch time.
The show is something the 6th year makes for the younger people (just like a booklet). It's some kind of theater in which the people play teachers and they are making a bit of fun out of them. Typical traits a teacher has, are being enlarged and out of that, a play is made. It's interrupted by some little pieces of film, also related to the play and the teachers. This year, it was the best one éver. I swear... I'm curious if they can beat it next year.
Lunch time. The cook in school made soup and after that there were fries. It was the typical Flemish kind of lunch. I ate way too much, so when the dessert, ice cream, arrived, I was like "How the fuck am I going to eat that?" Well, I did.
The next thing, was bowling. We went to a bowling hall and played it for a good two hours, I guess (after having troubles with the bus, as usual). The group I played with, challenged our form teachers (the maths and economics dudes). Our maths teacher failed, but our economics teacher got one strike after another, so we were like "Well fuck, we're giving up. You win."
Then we returned back to school, I felt a bit down. Nowadays, I suddenly feel down when something remembers me of my ex-boyfriend. My economics teacher noticed my lack of enthusiasm and cheered me up. "Don't let that spoil your day. It's a special day and enjoy it!" There was a movie, which was boring, but then there was the cantus.
A singing and drinking evening. Well, it was awesome. The atmosphere was good and so was the beer (I actually hate beer). The songs were retarded, actually, but that was exactly what I needed. Nobody got actually really drunk, because a cantus is not just a "Drink as much as you want" thing. Only the guy next to me, who was asked to bring around the drinks for a while... When he picked up the beer for everyone in the room at the bar, he was challenged to drink a few ones ad fundum. He was acting really retarded, but I don't need much beer to think everything is funny. In the end, I wasn't really drunk. It was that "Everything is funny and I feel that I've drunk some booze" stage. After the whole thing, when I was waiting for my mum to pick me up, I still managed to have a conversation with my maths teacher, ha x) He asked me, like every single day I have classes from him, how I'm doing. He's, together with the economics dude, one of the teachers who assured me I can always talk to him when I'm feeling down. Probably the only thing I'll really miss after those 100 days: the teachers who actually give a fuck about how the people they teach are doing. Beside that, I'm really looking forward to the life of a student. Let's have a drink on that! Cheers!
