And Then There Was Theo (Alessia Russo x Williamson!Reader)
From The Lover Series
âCould you get my water bottle from the kitchen?â Alessia asked you.
âYeah sure, darlingâ you nodded, standing up off the floor and heading into the kitchen with the three kids running after you, almost like they were baby ducks.
âHere you areâ you said, handing her the bottle and pressing a kiss to her forehead.
Alessia was currently sat quite snug on the sofa, overlooking you on the floor playing with Annabelle, Matteo and Sarah, who you had been babysitting today. Leah and Lia had just arrived to pick her up, but the couple were met with a trio of protests that they were not yet finished their game, so they were instructed to sit down and wait.
âMy phone is about to die, could you grab my charger from upstairs?â Alessia winced, in a little bit of discomfort.
âYeah, no problemâ you smiled, heading off again but asking the kids to all stay put this time and not follow you upstairs.
You jogged up the stairs and grabbed the charger, before coming down and plugging Alessiaâs charger into the wall. You pressed another kiss to her forehead and handed her the part to plug her phone in. Youâd just turned around, about to sit down to continue playing with your kids and niece, until Alessia spoke again.
âWhile youâre up, could you get me-â
âJesus Christ, Alessiaâ Leah groaned. âSheâs not here to wait on you hand and footâ
You gave your sister such a glare and gestured her to one side of the room. You and Leah started silently bickering, not loud enough to let the kids hear, but enough that had distracted you from Alessiaâs question.
âDo you ever give it a rest?â You huffed quietly.
âWhy are you letting her push you around? Have you no back bone?â Leah grunted, although if she was in your position, sheâd be doing exactly the same.
âWhat do you need? I can go and get itâ Lia hummed as the two of your wives rolled their eyes at how angsty you and Leah got when you were annoyed at each other.
âJust some strawberries. Theyâre in the fridge in a little bowl, Y/n cut them up earlierâ Alessia explained as Lia scooted off to the kitchen to the kitchen to grab them.
âYou canât let her boss you around, tell her to get it herselfâ Leah continued
âYouâre telling me if Lia asked you for something you wouldnât get it?â You grunted at your older sister as Lia came back into the room with the bowl of strawberries.
âI remember when you were pregnant you used to live on strawberries. Youâd only ever eat them when they were cut up into-â Lia giggled, coming back in munching on one as she handed the bowl to an Alessia who looked like sheâd just seen a ghost.
âOh my godâ Lia blurted out.
âWhat?â You frowned, turning to look at the two girls staring at each other with Lia holding the bowl of strawberries between them.
âOh come on, there is no way you figured it out from thatâ you moaned, pointing at the bowl of strawberries.
âFigured what out?â Leah frowned, and Alessia and Lia giggled at how alike the two of you looked right now.
âItâs not my newsâ Lia whispered to your wife.
âIâm pregnantâ Alessia smiled as Leahâs eyes almost burst out of her head.
âPregnant? Again?â Leah beamed. âAre you the dad?â She whispered teasingly.
âI hope soâ you nodded back with a smirk.
âNow I feel like a prickâ Leah sighed.
âYou are a prickâ you mumbled back as your older sister stood on your foot.
âDo you know what youâre having?â Lia asked.
âWe doâ Alessia nodded. âItâs a baby boyâ she smiled.
âAny names picked out?â Leah added, swinging her arm around your shoulder.
âWeâre thinking Theodoreâ you replied.
âThe chipmunk?â Annabelle whispered.
As congratulations were shared between the four of you, the words pregnant and baby flying out mid conversation caught the attention of the three kids on the floor.
âWhat does pregnant mean?â Matteo whispered.
âIt means sheâs going to get fat againâ Sarah explained.
âSarah!â You, Leah and Lia all shouted in unison.

summary: youâre singing for your choir and you meet a boy who was hiding in the shadows, who knew all your songs would be about him?
an : longest fix ugh, had to redo this cause it deleted. creds to kioflerkira for format and enchanthings for boarders.also got lazy with the text inspired by HALLEYS COMET by Billie Eilish
MILES WAS IN THE THEATRE ROOM AFTERSCHOOL HOURS TO PAINT PROPS FOR THE MUSICALS. he was unaware that one of the days he was there to paint, they swapped their meet spot last minute due to the schools choir practicing for their concert.
that let miles to forgetting some stuff in the theatre room and having to sneak backstage to grab them.
while doing so, he hears the choir do one of their songs, although he expected a group singing he heard one voice. you.
assuming it was a solo, miles peeked past the curtains to see only you. supposed the choir practice was over or was gonna happen soon.
but that didnât stop him from staying for a moment to listen to your voice, you were singing a song from that one girl.. whatâs her name? billie eilish? that didnât matter to miles in the moment because he was only fixated on you.
moving closer, he accidentally stepped on one of the creakiest floorboards making a sound. when he saw you look back he knew he had no choice but to show himself.
âhi?â you spoke. your regular speaking voice seemed as angelic as your singing voice making miles want to only hear you forever.
âhey.. uh sorry about that. Iâm helping the drama club paint props for the show and forgot some of my stuff here and I saw you and your singing is really good..â Miles spoke then slowed down realizing he was just blabbing.
âoh thatâs alright, Iâm just practicing. our practice was over 30 minutes ago so you can tell whoeverâs in your group that they can come back.â you said grabbing your bag before miles stopped you.
âwait no- I mean, itâs fine they can suffer in the art room for the rest of the day. take your time you sound really good.â miles says.
âoh thank you, Iâm y/n by the way. whatâs your name?â you said finally approaching him to close the gap between you guys that echoed throughout the auditorium.
âMiles..â He said, then letting the conversation fall to an awkward yet soothing silence.
âWell you should get back to your art club.. right?â you said, although it was disappointing to see him go. the moment was awkward.
âoh.. oh yea Iâm sorry I forgot. nice too meet you though.â Miles said grabbing the stuff he needed.
âyou too.â You spoke.
After that day, Miles slid his way into your life much more.
he would always enjoy reading the songs you write, letting you rant about how you want to do other stuff in life but you secretly want to be a singer, or just sit in silence while you write and he draws.
he would always love when he catches you while youâre singing, you think your singing is alright but he thinks itâs the best thing ever.
for you, hanging around him more made you feel more confident. He convinced you to sing for school talent shows and ask for more solos in your choir. He even convinced you to audition for another competitive singing group, which you got in to.
as the days went on, your notebook of songs slowly turned from friendship songs to love songs. although you didnât realize itâ it was very noticeable.
you wrote the majority of your songs about miles, he was one of the only genuine friends in your life.
when miles goes through your notebook, he sees these songs and always thinks about who itâs for, he gains jealousy knowing you feel such way about someone but he had no other choice but to be happy for you.
until he found out.
one day, you invite miles to your dorm to hang out and do nothing. your roommate went out with her friends before curfew so it gave you some alone time.
you were typing something on a random document on your laptop, which was strange because you usually wrote things. that made miles confused
âwhatcha doing?â he says.
âtyping.. somethingâ you say. he didnât need to know the definition to know what that âsomethingâ is.
âlay it on me.â miles speaks looking at you.
you chuckle and sit up. placing your laptop next to you, you began to sing the lyrics out loud.
âI DONT WANT IT, AND I DONT WANT TO WANT YOU.â the lyrics flew off your tongue angelically
âBUT IN MY DREAMS I SEEM MORE HONEST.â you sing getting slightly embarrassed for the next part
âAND I MUST ADMIT, YOUVE BEEN IN QUITE A FEWâ those words peaked miles interest. which made him pay more attention as you sang.
âitâs going wel-â miles says before you put your finger on his lip, shushing him.
âHALLEYS COMET, COMES AROUND MORE THEN I DO.â
âBUT YOURE ALL IT TAKES FOR ME TO BREAK A PROMISE, SILLY ME TO FALL IN LOVE WITH YOU.â you finish singing.
âwow.â miles says starstruck.
âwho is it about?â
you freeze. you actually knew he would say that but didnât know exactly how to answer.
âwell.. itâs about you.â you said, fiddling with your fingers which was a habit when you were nervous.
miles cheeks became red, he didnât know what to say. he felt the same about you and wanted you to know that but the words couldnât escape his mouth.
so, he takes his sketchbook out his bag and hands it to you. the thing was, this notebook was dedicated to you.
you looked at him confused. then start to skim through the pages and seen lots and I mean lots of you. every single page.
itâs like he payed extra attention, the three freckles on your left cheek, your beauty mark, your nose shape, he knew you all too well.
âitâs something I was meaning to show you..â Miles finally spoke up.
âitâs beautiful..â you say looking at him.
âand i thought i was good at hiding how i felt, how have a whole sketchbook about me.â you say not fully aware of what you actually said.
âcan i know what those feelings are?â miles says.
âisnât it obvious?â you chuckle. that laugh that always had miles wrapped around your fingers.
âyea y/n, but itâs better if I hear it.â miles said gently grabbing your hand and putting it in his.
âyou know.â you said flustered.
Miles chuckles at your flustered state, then his look became softened and a bit serious.
âthis is something I wanted for a long time..â
âcan I please court you?â miles said.
you smile nodding, then resting your head on his shoulder.

Summary- Your dad goes out with the other avengers not knowing your band is performing there.
Bucky Barnes x daughter!Reader, Avengers x Reader, Peter x Barnes!Reader
Word Count: 1002
Warnings: fluff, amazing singer, dad!bucky
(A/N: The song used is Bad romance by Lady gaga covered by Halestorm. Some of you know this song from TikTok so link here)
âI regret coming here.â Bucky looked around at the people chatting having a good time. The dim lights gave a more relaxed ambiance unlike Bucky who would have stayed in the tower but Steve and everyone else wanted to go out. Y/n was out with friends not telling where or what you guys were doing, so he could bail on the avengers to spend time with you.
âCalm down Manchurian Candidate they just open and they even got live music, apparently they are pretty good they even played at Ginoâs,â Tony explained grabbing his drink from the bar as they made their way to the V.I.P section to get ready for the performance.
Natasha sat next to Bucky âhey itâs your night off Y/n off having fun and you should too.â Bucky nodded just as the lights started to darken and the stage lights up. The owner walks up to the microphone âHow is everyone tonight,â the crowd cheers Thor taking it too seriously and slamming his glass against the table it cracks, âThatâs good Iâm happy to present âThe Revengersâ!â He calls out as the audience claps and cheers as people begin to walk on the stage.
âAvengers fan much.â Tony scoffs and gets elbowed in the gut âShush Tony.â Steve hushes as people plug in their guitars and keyboards. Bucky stares seeing two guys one playing drums the other on bass, a woman on the keyboard but there is an extra mic stand and guitar on stage. Before he could question the band begins.
The lights go dark before the thrum of the bass causes cheers to run through the crowd âWant your bad romance!---Want your bad romance!â The bassist sings out the drummer keeping a steady better as the three play on stage.
âI want your ugly, I want your disease I want your everything as long as it's free I want your love. Love, love, love, I want your love,â The male sings out towards the crowd as most get on their feet and cheer. âHey I want your drama, the touch of your hand I want your leather-studded kiss in the sand I want your love. Love, love, love, I want your loveâ The crowd screams and himself and his teammates are enjoying this.
A familiar voice sings out but no one on stage singing is moving âYou know that I want you. And you know that I need you. I want it bad. Your bad romanceâ A spotlight comes down on a woman by the bar singing hold a mic the crowd roars not expecting this.
âis that..â Sam says trying to get a better look the woman now on stage starts singing with the bassist pulling on the extra guitar and now playing along âI want your love, and I want your revenge. You and me could write a bad romance.â All of the team is trying to figure out who it is as you continue to sing âI want your love, and all your lover's revenge. You and me could write a bad romance.â Just as you hit that riff it dawns on him
âY/N!â He yelled out in shock. The Avengers look at the singer as you looked up meeting your dad's gaze. You smile and continue to play putting your heart and soul. âCaught in a bad romance. Caught in a bad romanceâ You and your band continue to play the crowd at your feet cheer singing along as you and your friends jump and dance on the stage.
Your dad and his teammates cheer watching you play when you hit the high note in the song the audience scream as you continue to sing.
âHOLY SHIT!â Sam yells out hearing your voice ring out through the bar
âThat's my girl!â Your dad cheers throwing his fist in the air. You smile finishing off the song.
âRa-ra-ah-ah-ah
Roma-roma-ma
Gaga, ooh-la-la
Want your bad romanceâ
You and your bandmates jump at the final beat hitting the floor as the room went dark. Cheers and whistles fill the room as the light turn back on, both you and your friends are sweating chest heaving as you bow the applause gets louder. Your eyes meet with your dad and your chest tightens seeing tears in his eyes.
âThank you goodnight!â You yell into the microphone as you and your band go backstage.
You sit in your dressing room already changed drinking some water to cool yourself down. A knock pulls you out of your thoughts âCome in.â The avengers enter quickly bombarding you with questions. âThat was amazin- where did you learn to play- you were incredible- why didnât you tell us- someone get a record deal over here-.â
âGuys...guysâ You quite them down âOne thank you and two I didnât know you guys were gonna be here,â you said looking at them.
âY/n that was absolutely amazing you have a real talent that is hard to find,â Steve said causing you to smile. Thor raises the beer that is still with him âYes your voice could rival those of our great singers in Asgard!â Thor yells causing you to laugh.
You look over at your dad who is still quiet âDid you like it?â You look in fear of rejection. Bucky walks closer pulling you into a hug âI have never been more proud of you sweetheart you are truly amazing.â You wrap your arms tighter around him âThanks, dad.â You smile against his chest.
âY/n you were amazing as always you ready for dinner...â Peterâs voice dies out looking up at his phone seeing all the avengers here. âHey... Mr.Barnes guys.â He sends a small wave.
Your dad looks between you and Peter âReally him.â your dad groans out now putting two together. You chuckle nervously âWell... I better get going Iâll see you all later bye.â You rush out slipping pass your dad grabbing Peterâs hand and pulling him out of the dressing room.
âIâm gonna kill him.â Your dad growls out before rushing out after you two. Tony looked at the other avengers âHe didnât know they were together for two years.â

@Y/n_Williamson: As a lot of you already probably know, myself and Mel have decided to part ways. We split up a few months ago and I have since moved home to the U.K to be with my family and friends. Thank you for respecting my privacy over the last while â€ïž Hope to have new music for you soon.
âIs there anything youâd like to change or add?â Anna asked as you shook your head through the phone. You gave the go ahead as she hit send, spreading the news across your social media platforms.
Thousands of likes within seconds.
âHow do I market her as the villain in this relationship?â Luke asked you which made you laugh.
âSheâll do that herself when she goes public with the new oneâ Anna scoffed, as Luke looked at you and then back at Anna.
You hadnât told anybody Mel found someone so quickly. The only person that knew was Alessia because she was in bed with you when Anna had mentioned it. The reason you didnât say anything was because it wasnât a shock to you that Mel moved on so fast. It was actually a huge relief she hadnât contacted you again.
âHow is the album going?â Anna asked.
âYeah goodâ you nodded. âI have two songs done so farâ you smiled.
âGreat, keeping working away. When youâre happy to go, you let me know and weâll book the studioâ she smiled.
âCan I talk to Luke for a few minutes?â She asked as you nodded, heading back towards the studio downstairs.
You picked up the guitar and began strumming to a particular beat you couldnât get out of your head. Eventually, Luke had come down. He stood at the door for a while listening to you play. You looked a lot more relaxed than you were the last few days.
âYou doing okay?â He asked as you turned to face him. He was almost sceptical to say anything because youâd stop playing.
âSuch a reliefâ you sighed as you stopped playing.
Damn it, Luke thought. He sat down beside you and let you both soak in the moment, before deciding to speak again.
âIs that why you havenât made a move on Lessi? Youâre afraid of your image?â He asked.
âNo, I havenât made a move because weâre just friendsâ you huffed.
âNo, weâre just friendsâ he moved his hands up between the two of you, to let you know he was referring to you and him.
âYou like herâ he laughed, slapping you around the back of the head and standing back up.
âGo away, Iâm writingâ you moaned.
âMakes a move on my sister but not someone she actually likesâ he whispered under his breath.
âI heard that, you need to move onâ you shouted after him with a laugh.
-
Youâd written two songs for the new album so far, called âYouâre Gonna Go Farâ and âYour Bonesâ.
You were very private about your music until you had to record it. Now that you had a home studio, you didnât need anybody else to hear it until the actual day youâd need to professionally record them. But after the first two songs, you had hit a slump and were close to banging your head off the table.
Youâd usually just spend the day playing an instrument and humming along to the melody, before moving to another instrument and repeating the pattern. Composing music was easy, but you were finding putting lyrics to your pieces really difficult for this album.
You wanted to say so much and your mind was a mess, because, just how honest could you be?
Alessia hadnât heard from you as much as she thought she would have from when you moved out. She had been calling and texting you almost everyday but most of them would go unanswered or youâd send her the briefest of replies. She thought you two were solid and starting to develop a connection of something more than just friends. But you were just completely ghosting her and she had no idea why.
âHey Leah?â Alessia asked, anxiously walking into the kitchen as Leah looked up from her phone and at her. Alessia looked stressed, holding her phone tightly in her hand.
âI know this is awkward, but I just donât really know who else to talk toâ Alessia sighed.
âIs everything alright, Less?â Leah asked, moving the chair beside her and gesturing Alessia to sit down, but she began pacing. Sheâd been spending too much time with the Williamsons to not pick up some of their mannerisms.
âSheâs been pretty much ignoring me since sheâs moved out. Like when we stayed the night in her house, she called her bedroom our bedroom, yet since then, sheâs been giving me nothingâ Alessia blurted out, pacing back and forth in the kitchen.
âLess, calm downâ Leah said, standing up and taking hold of the younger girlâs shoulders.
âThis is all just part of her writing process. She gets in on herself for a little while as she writesâ Leah explained. âI havenât heard from her eitherâ Leah informed her.
Youâd be nowhere else all day other than the studio, turning your phone to airplane mode to really focus. Youâd only pick your phone up to look back at photos or messages, to put yourself back in the mindset of where you were at particular moments in your life.
Leah got lucky that time when sheâd called you that you wanted to do anything other than write a song, let alone an album.
If you were honest, you needed to concentrate on doing this album, but if you allowed yourself to think about Alessia for even a second, youâd abandon ship and run over there to spend time with her.
âOhâ Alessia sighed. âFuck, I feel so embarrassedâ she added, trying to leave the room immediately and holding back tears.
âHey, noâ Leah pulled her back. âSit downâ she said, practically pushing her into a chair.
âIâm going to ask you this one more time, is there something going on with you and my sister?â Leah quizzed.
âNoâ Alessia shook her head as Leahâs head swung backwards and she released a loud sigh.
âWe almost kissedâ Alessia blurted out.
âOh, okay. I thought that stage was long gone by nowâ Leah laughed as Alessia shook her head.
âI donât even know if we almost kissed, I think we were just caught up in the momentâ Alessia rambled.
âDo you like her?â Leah asked with a smirk, as Alessia finally gave in.
âYeah, I doâ she replied.
âWell itâs about timeâ Leah laughed.
âDo you think she likes me?â Alessia asked.
âJesus Christ, you two are idiotsâ Leah groaned, getting up from the table.
-
Leah called you later in the week. It was like she always knew when youâd be free to answer.
âHeyâ you said as you answered.
âHey, how are you?â She asked as you shrugged.
âStressedâ you replied, watching as she nodded in understanding.
âMust be hard being so famousâ she laughed, causing you to stick the finger up at her.
âIs it coming along?â She asked, forcing you once again to shrug.
âI just finished my third song thereâ you smiled.
âWhatâs it called?â She smirked.
âNice tryâ you laughed, not even she was blessed with knowing anything about them.
âDid you ring just to piss me off or was there a reason?â You asked as the smirk wiped off her face.
âI need you to do me a favour. I know youâre busy but just, if you have a free dayâ Leah explained.
âI can definitely slot some time in for youâ you smiled.
âCan we please get that dinner?â She asked as you looked at the sheet music and lyrics scribbled down. Youâd done enough to allow yourself some time off.
âDoes tomorrow work for you?â You suggested.
âDefinitely. Iâll pick you upâ she nodded.
âNo, I can come by and get youâ you told her as she agreed.
Secretly, you just wanted to see Alessia but Leah didnât need to know that. Leah has planned to tell you about Alessiaâs feelings for you and see how you would react.
-
You drove to Leahâs house around 6pm. She told you sheâd be home at 7pm and would be ready for 7:30pm. That left you with around an hour with Alessia to be alone. You let yourself into the house, hearing voices coming from the kitchen as you began to frown, realising she wasnât alone. You kicked your shoes off as you made your way in.
âSomeone here?â You shouted as the voices instantly stopped.
âKitchenâ you heard shouted back at you, from the familiar voice of Lia.
You were met with Alessia and Lia who were busy cooking dinner. Lia had the same stressed look on her face that Luke had when him and Alessia were cooking together.
âHeyâ you smiled at Alessia straight away but she didnât look at you, like she usually did.
âHiâ Lia made her way straight towards you, for a big hug.
âIâd recognise that smell any dayâ you chuckled with your arms still around the Arsenal midfielder.
âAre you staying for dinner then?â Alessia asked as Lia moved swiftly back to her side. You noticed that Alessia still hadnât looked at you yet.
âMe and Leah are going out actuallyâ you began to explain, but even you could hear the groaning from the blonde.
âI just came early because-â you looked at Lia as you hesitated finishing your sentence.
âYou wanted to save me and help Alessia in the kitchen? Wow, youâre too goodâ Lia laughed taking off her apron and handing it to you, practically sprinting out of the kitchen.
âYou do really need to stop scaring your sous chefsâ you laughed and you noticed the slightest up tick on her lips.
She put down the kitchen utensil she was using with a slight slam and turned to face you as you placed an apron on.
âWhy did you come early?â She asked. You started to feel a slight sense of panic but you decided to go for it.
âI missed youâ you admitted. âIâm sorry for being distant lately, I just have these deadlines and Anna is going to kill me if I donât meet themâ you chuckled, but it was a fearful laugh.
Anna would literally kill you if she knew you were doing anything other than writing. Alessia didnât say anything at first, she just collapsed into your arms as you hugged her back tightly.
âI missed you tooâ she replied as you smiled against her.
âI canât believe you cooked my favourite on the night me and Leah are going outâ you huffed as she let go.
âI canât believe you didnât invite meâ she poked your chest as you grabbed her finger.
âIt wasnât my idea to go for dinnerâ you shrugged with a laugh, shifting your hand slightly to take a more comfortable hold of hers.
âWell, can you at least help me finish making mine?â She asked as you nodded, letting go of her hand and grabbing a bowl.
She put the music that her and Lia had been listening to back on as you both got to work. She didnât have to correct you once. Youâd helped her multiple times with this dish that you knew exactly what you had to do.
Lia was sat comfortably on the couch, flicking through Instagram, until she heard Leah come in. She quickly got up and pulled her into the living room, before she could step any further into the house.
âWally, let me goâ Leah laughed, pressing a kiss to her cheek.
âYour sister is hereâ she whispered as Leah shrugged.
âI noticed that when I seen her car. Why are we whispering?â Leah smirked.
âHer and Alessia are in the kitchen and havenât came out sinceâ Lia informed her as Leahâs eyebrows rose.
âHow long has she been here?â Leah asked as Lia checked her watch.
âAn hourâ Lia said.
âThese two are honestly going to be the death of meâ Leah huffed as she marched towards the kitchen.
Liaâs whispered protests fell on deaf ears. She opened the door slightly to have a peak inside. You were sat on the countertop, food clearly in the oven and the kitchen was already spotless. Alessiaâs motto was clean as you go. The blonde stood in between your legs with her back pressed against you and your arms wrapped around her waist. She was showing you something on her phone that was making the both of you laugh.
When Leah came in, Alessia went to move but your grip stayed on her waist. You decided you didnât care who else was around, you and Alessia were comfortable, and Leah was someone who watched you both share a bed for weeks, so Alessia settled back against you with a smile.
âHeyâ Leah greeted you.
âHeyâ you said back.
âHiâ Alessia smiled.
âListen, can I rain check?â Leah asked as you shrugged and Alessia felt your grip tighten against her.
âYeah, no worriesâ you smiled.
âI just need to take Lia home. Why donât you stay? Have dinner here?â Leah suggested.
âIs that alright with you?â You asked Alessia, who nodded her head against you.
Leah left the room, as you and Alessia continued to laugh at whatever was playing on her phone.
âWeâre leavingâ Leah said, pulling her teammate towards the door.
âWhat? Why? Is everything okay?â Lia asked, grabbing Leahâs arms.
âYeah everything is fineâ Leah smiled. âI just told her I needed to reschedule so I could bring you home and that she should stay for dinnerâ Leah smirked.
âYou are meddlingâ the Swiss girl laughed at her teammate who was putting on her shoes and beginning to do the same.
âThey will figure it out. We didâ Lia laughed, pressing a kiss to Leahâs cheek.
âYeah yeah, get in the carâ Leah kissed her before taking her hand and walking to the car.
Leah and Lia had been dating for around a year, but decided it was best to just keep it to themselves for the minute, due to the nature of being colleagues.
When dinner was just about ready to be pulled from the oven, you swatted Alessia away. You had dressed up nicely as you thought you were going out with Leah. Alessia was wearing a pair of shorts and a hoodie that once belonged to you.
âEither you get changed or give me clothes because Iâm far too overdressedâ you laughed.
âIâll get changedâ she giggled as she left the room.
You knew sheâd be gone for a little bit. You set the table and lit a candle, you put the music to a feint tone that nicely hummed in the background. You took the food from the now off oven, youâd just left it in there to keep warm. You plated it up, correctly, how Alessia had taught you. When she came back down and entered the kitchen, you were slumped against the counter on your phone.
âHiâ she smiled. She was wearing a a crop top and a pair of long trousers. You noticed that the colours corresponded with your outfit.
âDo I look okay?â She asked.
âYou look, beautifulâ you eventually got out. âIs this too much?â You asked, looking towards the table.
âNo, itâs lovelyâ she smiled as you both made your way to the table.
You both ate dinner, catching up on the last few weeks. She was busy the last while with training and matches and youâd been busy with your album. You were extremely vague when sheâd asked about it. Unfortunately for her, she wasnât going to be the only one that got to hear anything either, although it was tempting to tell her about your music.
When you finished dinner you grabbed both of the plates and brought them to the sink, giving them a light wash before placing them in the dishwasher.
âI should probably be getting backâ you sighed as she nodded.
âTonight was niceâ she smiled.
âYeah, it wasâ you wished it didnât have to end and Alessia thought the same.
âPlease, donât ignore my calls and textsâ she huffed as she pulled you in for a hug.
âIâm sorry. Iâll never ignore you Lessâ you whispered against her.
You put your shoes on and got to the door. As you pulled it open you stopped yourself leaving and turned back towards her.
âAre you free tomorrow?â You asked as she nodded. âIâll pick you up at 8am, I want to take you somewhereâ you said as she smiled.
âOkayâ you debated kissing her cheek, she debated kissing yours, but you just turned and got into your car.

Youâre so weird
When you got home, you ran straight into the studio and started scribbling. You ended up with pages and pages of notes and ideas for a song. You wanted the world to know she was a footnote in your story at some point in time.
Alessia was asleep on the couch when Leah arrived home, alone.
âHey sleepy, wanna go to bed?â Leah asked as she turned the TV off and Alessia nodded.
âYou have a nice night?â Leah asked as Alessia smiled, walking upstairs together.
âWeâre going out tomorrowâ Alessia informed her.
âAre you ever going to tell her how you feel?â Leah asked as Alessia shrugged.
âThat depends, are you going to tell Lia how you feel?â Alessia smirked as Leahâs jaw dropped.
âWhat? Me and Lia? You are crazy. No, neverâ Leah swatted away her idea and quickly entered her bedroom. Alessia laughed her way into her own bedroom and went back to sleep.
-
It was 7:45am when you pulled up outside and you decided against going in, as you didnât want to wake Leah. You messaged Alessia to let her know you were outside, but that there was no rush.
She came out in a knee high red dress and a pair of flats that matched the colour of her bag. She had her hair down and it was curled. Youâd opted for a pair of beige trousers and a brown t-shirt with plain white air max and a green jacket and baseball cap. Your hair was brushed back and up in a bun.
âOkay, we clearly took picnic vibes a different wayâ she giggled getting in the car.
âYou look nice thoughâ you smiled.
âSo do youâ she replied with a shy smile. âWhere are we going?â She asked as you smirked.
âWhere arenât we going?â You laughed as you began to drive.
âYou can have control of the music on one conditionâ you said tapping on the Bluetooth feature of your radio, your other hand on the steering wheel.
âI wonât play any of your songsâ she sighed as you shook your head.
âYouâre actually only allowed to play my songsâ you said, as she connected her phone and clicked onto your Spotify page and hit shuffle.
âI wanted to take you to the places I like to go to get inspiration for writing when Iâm in Londonâ you explained as you shifted gear.
âIs that alright?â You asked as she placed a hand over your one that sat on the gear stick and nodded.
You moved around your fingers slightly so they began to intertwine with Alessiaâs as you both continued to look straight ahead as you drove.
For the first stop, you swung by the Emirates and pulled over.
âAre you just taking me to my place of work?â Alessia laughed.
âThis is the reason around Northern Attitude, you said that was your favourite songâ You said, leaning over the wheel, staring out the front screen, avoiding eye contact.
âHow did you remember that?â She grinned, as you shrugged.
âI remember a lot of what you say, actuallyâ you admitted as it fell silent for a few seconds.
âSo, Northern Attitude isnât a deep song then? Itâs just about football?â She asked.
âPretty muchâ you laughed.
You spun her around a few places, eventually parking the car in a car park and opting to walk to the rest of the places. Youâd met a few fans and stopped to take photos and sign autographs. Alessia had done the same whenever someone asked her.
You strolled around Camden market for awhile before eventually hopping on the tube to get to Abbey Road studios. Her head rested against your shoulder for the 30 minute tube ride as you both talked on the way there. You noticed a few stares, but that was nothing out of the ordinary.
You were explaining the meanings behind your songs and who and what they were about. You were conscious to not bring up any about Mel, but Alessia was just noting the ones you didnât talk about were clearly the ones about her.
âSo, this is where I recorded my first ever song and itâs where Iâll record the new albumâ you explained as you left the sound booth and walked back towards the main entrance.
Nobody could just walk into Abbey Road studios. But you werenât a nobody.
âItâs getting darkâ Alessia pointed outside, only now noticing youâd been there for about 20 minutes already.
âShit, okay, we best get a move onâ you said, subconsciously taking her hand in yours and walking outside and down the street.
âJust one more placeâ you smiled, still holding her hand and pulling her along on the walk.
You took her to the top of Primrose Hill.
âThe view is so niceâ Alessia squealed.
âMe and Lee used to run up here every week and tell eachother our deepest darkest secretsâ you laughed. You slumped onto a free bench, as she nestled in beside you, interlocking your fingers.
âOh yeah? Whats your deepest darkest secret then?â She teased. You were not about to confess your undying love for her.
âWell, I guess Leah and Luke both know already, but when I was 15 I kissed Lukeâs sisterâ you shrugged.
âIsnât she like your sister in a way?â Alessia laughed, knowing you had always thought of Luke like a brother.
âGod, donât make it even more weirdâ you laughed, nudging her shoulder.
âWhatâs yours then?â You asked. There was also not a hope in hell she was confessing that.
âIâm really afraid of living on my own in London. I guess thatâs why I havenât moved out of Leahâsâ she admitted.
âLeah doesnât mind having youâ you reassured her.
âI know that. I just feel like such a burdenâ she put her head against her knees, which were perched up on the bench. Once she freed your hand, you swung your arm around her and pulled her in beside you.
âYou are definitely not a burden, to anybodyâ you debated pressing a kiss to her head, but you opted not to.
âEspecially not Leah. You do all her cooking and cleaning. If anything, sheâs the burdenâ you laughed as you felt her ease up against you. She lay pressed against you as you readjusted your position for her to get more comfortable.
âAre you done with your album?â She asked, changing the subject.
âNot even closeâ you laughed.
âCan I hear any of it?â She asked as you shook your head. She slapped your arm as you made the motion.
âRudeâ she taunted.
âYou can hear it when itâs doneâ you smirked.
âCome on, letâs get you homeâ you said, pulling her gently off the bench, walking towards the station to jump on a tube to get back towards the car.
The drive home was quick, your hand had wandered to be on her thigh and she didnât seem to be too bothered by it.
âI canât imagine how I would react if someone wrote a song about meâ Alessia laughed.
âDonât worry, nobody willâ you teased as she hit you once again. She didnât need to know what you did yesterday.
âI donât think Iâve ever realised just how much of a little shit you are. Youâre just like Leahâ she giggled.
âTake it backâ you gasped as she shook her head with a giggle.
You eventually pulled up outside Leahâs house and put the car into park.
âYou wanna come in?â She asked as you looked towards the door.
âI better get homeâ you sighed as Alessia felt her heart sink.
âYeah, sureâ she managed to smile. âText me when you get home?â She asked as you nodded.
When she pushed open the door, you pulled her back towards you by the hand, like you wanted to kiss her. But when you let go with a defeated sigh, you didnât expect her to lean in and kiss your cheek, before getting out and smiling.
You heart was beating at around 200bpm when she eventually closed her front door. You were still rooted to the spot, unable to move, gripping the steering wheel for dear life. Leah was looking at you from the window with a smirk as you eventually drove off.
You thought about how it felt when she kissed your cheek the whole way home.

Thanks for a nice day x
-
You were tapping to the beat of a song on the radio in your kitchen, making your morning coffee, when you heard a knock on the door. You werenât expecting anybody or anything to be delivered. You checked the camera, to see the blonde bouncing on the balls of her feet at the front door.
âShitâ you whispered to yourself as you ran upstairs to put better clothes on and sprinted back down.
âHiâ she smiled when you answered the door.
âHeyâ you said, like you hadnât just sprinted as fast as you could upstairs to make yourself look more presentable before running back down to answer the door.
âAre you free today?â She asked as you nodded, not really caring about your career in that particular moment.
Itâd been a few days since you last saw her, and for a 13 song album, you now had 4 songs fully written and a few more with lyrics and additional music to be put to them.
âCome on thenâ she laughed, pulling you outside by the hand.
Both of you were dressed comfortably in tracksuit bottoms and hoodies. Unlike the day you took her out when you dressed nicely.
âWhere are we going?â You laughed as you got into the passenger seat.
âWhere arenât we going?â she teased, using your words against you.
She drove you to a football pitch that was about 35 minutes away. She put the car in park as you looked towards the amateur looking pitch.
âThis was the first football pitch I played onâ she told you, you were a bit taken aback.
âReally?â You asked as she nodded.
âYou took me to all the places you find special, this is mineâ she shrugged with a smile. She got out of the car and gestured you to do the same.
âCome onâ she shouted as she got a football from the boot and started kicking it around. âCan you play then?â She asked as you gave her an anxious look.
âNoâ you shook your head, making her laugh. But all the years of playing with Leah and Jacob must have paid off somewhere down the line, because you werenât half bad.
âWe could get you a career change, youâre only 22. Plenty of time for football and then go back to singing in retirementâ Alessia joked.
You stood with the ball at your feet and saw your moment to kick it through her legs. You kicked it through far enough that you could run around her and continue running with the ball to finally slot it into the net. You done the infamous Russo celebration, hands in the air at a sprint when she eventually caught you, and then she done what Alessia Russo usually does, and fell over.
Both of you landed with a thump as your bodies collided and she ended up on top of you. Neither of you said anything, you just looked at eachother as she was on top of you. You were back in the place you were in the studio, both looking at each others lips like you craved nothing else in the world. You leaned in, and she noticed you did this time.
âOi, you two, get off. Weâve got a game in 20 minutesâ a random man shouted as she shot up from on top of you.
âOh god, Alessia, sorry love. Didnât realise it was youâ she pulled you up and jogged over to the man.
As you stood waiting for her, you looked over towards the name of the pitch.
âThe Alessia Russo Pitchâ
Your heart had never felt more full until suddenly, a stampede of children came running towards you asking for selfies and autographs.
âWho is she?â The man asked Alessia.
âY/n Williamsonâ Alessia laughed.
âOh Leahâs sister?â He asked as she rolled her eyes and nodded. How could someone not know who you were?
She dropped you off later that evening, back to your house. You never asked her to come in because you were too busy debating everything that happened. The near kiss, the heavy breathing, the eye contact.
âEnoughâ you muttered to yourself, starting to become overwhelmed in your thoughts. You slumped on the couch as she made her way back home in her car.

I should have asked you to come in Send ->
You typed the message 100 times and deleted it just as many. Maybe she didnât want to be anything more than friends and maybe thatâs all you two were meant to be. Friends.
As you went to click out of the app, you accidentally pressed send.
âFuckâ you repeated over and over, springing up off the couch. Your heart was beating the fastest it ever had, but it beat itâs own record when you seen a text come through.

I would have said yes
Maybe she wanted more. Maybe she did like you, as more than friends.
The music was thumping in the club. It was dark, the floor was sticky and you could feel nothing but Alessia pressed against you, dancing to the music that was playing. Arsenal had just beaten Chelsea in the London Derby earlier today. 2 goals scored by Alessia to win the game 2-1 and put them top of the league.
It was decided straight after the win that the team would go out to celebrate as they had a few days off before the international break.
âInvite everybodyâ Katie shouted, earning a round of cheers around the dressing room. There was murmurs around the room and people began taking out their phones to start texting people tonightâs plans.
âLeah, you should invite your sisterâ Alessia was too busy taking her boots off that she didnât see exactly who said it, but her head whipped up none the same, scanning the room.
âOh and her fit friendâ was shouted next, Alessia didnât even care to look around the room to see who added that part.
Leah laughed it off, but looked straight at Alessia. She could tell Alessia was fuming. Steam could have easily burst from the strikers head at any second. She thought it would be best to defuse the situation, but actually ended up making it worse.
âI donât think my sister would come if I asked, but maybe if Less asked, she wouldâ Leah smirked towards Alessia. Lia quickly stood in front of the English striker to stop anybody from seeing how red she went in that moment.
You hadnât told Leah how you felt about Alessia. It was awkward with them working and living together, but if only youâd told her, she would have told you Alessia felt the exact same about you. But all you believed was that Alessia wanted to just be friends, and you were not about to ruin your friendship for some silly feelings that you thought would eventually pass.
âAre you going to invite her?â Lia asked with a smile, Alessia still flustered.
âShould I?â Alessia frowned, but she was only met with a nod and a smile from Lia.
When the room began filtering out and only Alessia, who was showering, Lia, and Leah were left, Lia decided now would be the best moment to give out to Leah for pissing Alessia off.
âI told you to stop meddling, you threw her right into the deep end, loveâ Lia whisper shouted.
âThey are two idiotsâ Leah huffed, putting her runners on.
âYou are acting like an idiotâ Lia groaned.
âYeah, but you love me, donât you darlinâ?â Leah smirked, pulling her girlfriend closer to her by the waist.
âJust get the bagsâ Lia chuckled, pressing a quick kiss to Leahâs lips, but Leah deepened it. It didnât take long for Lia to melt into the kiss, hands wrapped around Leahâs neck. Of course, Alessia chose right now to walk out of the shower, instantly regretting it.
âOh shit, sorryâ Alessia shouted, backing herself in towards the showers again.
âLess, itâs fineâ Leah shouted back as she re-emerged. âSee, when you admit your feelings, you actually get to be with the person sometimesâ Leah laughed as Lia rolled her eyes.
âHow long?â Alessia asked beginning to get ready.
âItâs been a whileâ Lia replied.
âI canât believe Y/n didnât tell meâ Alessia laughed, starting to put her stuff into her bag. She looked back at the pair when they didnât respond.
âOhâ Alessia breathed out.
âYou canât tell her or anybodyâ Leah warned as Alessia held her hands up in surrender.
The girls all walked towards Leahâs car as they headed home, making a quick stop to Liaâs apartment so she could grab her outfit. Alessia took her phone out to text you but didnât know how to word it, she was just tapping her thumbs on the screen without hitting any letters.
âIf you look at that phone any longer without using it, the thing is going out the windowâ Leah huffed from the front of the car.
âWhy donât you call her when we get home?â Lia suggested as Alessia smiled and nodded back at her.
âBe niceâ Lia frowned, squeezing Leahâs arm.
âYou know I wonât say anything right?â Alessia chirped from the back as the couple in the front nodded.
âI just mean, you can be a couple around me and thereâs no judgment. Iâm happy for both of youâ Alessia smiled as Lia turned around to squeeze the English girlâs knee.
âGo back to staring at your phoneâ Leah muffled.
You were more than halfway through the album now. Youâd written songs about moving away and being in love in New York and the break up. But you didnât know what you wanted to write about when you came home and then, Alessia.
You were writing down some notes when your phone buzzed. The photo of the two of you that popped up when she called always made you smile. She always made you smile. Youâd only over been this smitten with a girl once before which was insane, because thousands of girls were constantly throwing themselves at you.
âHeyâ you answered, placing the phone between your shoulder and ear as you scribbled the last thing down you needed to.
âHiâ you could feel her smiling from the tone of her voice. You missed her smile.
âYou played unbelievable today, Lessâ you cooed into the phone.
âOh, you actually took time to watch one of my matches?â She teased as you rolled your eyes.
She didnât need to know that you never missed her matches, no matter how busy you got. You actually got really frustrated that this album was getting in the way of you seeing one of her matches in person.
âWhat you up to?â You asked.
âThe team are heading out tonight and I wanted to know if you were free? Maybe you wanted to come?â She asked.
You looked at the pages that definitely did not have enough on them for you to agree to leaving. But how could you resist that voice?
âCan I bring Luke?â You asked as she smiled.
âLeah already invited himâ she giggled.
âThen Iâm thereâ you nodded. âCanât wait to see youâ you mumbled after the girl had hung up.
But here you were now, stuffed into an exclusively booked section of the fancy London nightclub. Music was thumping, people were drunk, and sweaty bodies were pressed up against each other. You could tell Luke was kissing someone but, through your blurred vision, you couldnât make out who. There was too many blonde girls that played for Arsenal.
You hadnât drank like this in a long time. You were treating alcohol like a stress reliever tonight. You didnât want to think about the album, and how much work you still had to do. You were slumped on a couch in the corner with Lia and Leah. Alessia was off dancing on the dance floor that was shared with the rest of the club, with Vic and Lotte. Your eyes were glued to her.
âMove overâ Emily said to Leah as she squeezed in between you both. You didnât even notice her as she sat down, you were fixated on the blonde who was dancing around.
You could barely make out what the American girl was saying to you, but it had been going on awhile. Leah and Lia tried to get involved in the conversation but she didnât seem interested in letting them. Your eyes had shifted from Alessia to the floor. Alessia looked across the bar towards the couches to where Emily had her body pressed against you and was whispering in your ear. Both your hands were wrapped around your glass and you looked heavily uninterested in the conversation.
Leah and Lia had long got up and left you sat alone with her. When you eventually locked eyes with Alessia, you mouthed at her to save you. She giggled at you before coming by your side, pulling you off the seat and bringing you to the dance floor.
âHave you seen Luke?â You asked her as she pulled you against her.
âHeâs over thereâ Alessia smirked, pointing towards him and Steph, who were still kissing.
You laughed as you brought your hands to Alessiaâs waist and her fingertips were scraping the back of your head. Both of you were so drunk at this stage, but all that was in your mind was the last time you were in this scenario, she ended up going home with someone else.
You both danced around with each other for a bit, but it got more intimate and sweaty the closer you got to each other. The only time you left the otherâs side was to go to the bar to get another drink for both of you. Youâd both practically neck your drinks so you could be back with your hands on the other.
Youâd gotten back from the bar with two drinks only to find her chatting to a girl that you didnât recognise. Your heart shattered. You were not about to let her walk out of here with someone other than you. If it took being drunk to realise that you were in love with her, than so be it.
You chugged both drinks as fast as you could, making your way over to her and pulling her waist to have her body pressed against you again.
âYou wanna leave?â You asked as she nodded her head against you. âI wanna take you back to mineâ you mumbled.
âDo it thenâ Alessia challenged.
You took her by the hand and led her out of the night club and into a taxi, going straight towards your house. Leah and Lia raised their eyebrows suggestively to eachother at the sight of you two leaving, hand in hand.
âI told you, meddling worksâ Leah shouted over the music as Lia rolled her eyes.
The taxi was quiet, neither of you knowing what to say to each other. Although, she hadnât let go of your hand yet. You paid the taxi and opened the door, both of you stepping inside and Alessia kicked it shut.
She wasted no time before connecting her lips with yours. It was a nice kiss, you just wish you were both sober enough to actually enjoy your first kiss. You had Alessia pressed against your front door as her hand had pushed your head towards her neck. Some type of sense came over you to speak again.
âIs this okay?â You asked as she frantically nodded and continued to kiss you.
âTake me to bedâ she whispered in your ear, jumping up into your arms as you carried her upstairs.
-
You woke the next morning with Alessia wrapped up against you. It wasnât the first time youâd woken up like that with the blonde, but it was the first time youâd woken and felt different.
You couldnât get the thought out of your head of what had happened last night. You felt maybe you were getting somewhere with her. Maybe you would both be able to finally tell each other how you felt and give it a real go.
Someone started knocking on the door as you gently untangled yourself from Alessia and made your way downstairs.
âMan, I am so fucked, I think Leah is going to kill meâ Luke mumbled as he pushed by you and went straight towards the kitchen. Your best friend looked so stressed but you couldnât help but laugh at him.
âItâs not funny, Iâm deadâ he said with his head in his hands.
âYeah well, join the clubâ you smirked, walking towards your coffee machine as you began to brew both of your coffees.
âWhat did you do?â Luke asked, tilting his head.
âMorningâ Alessia smiled, coming into the kitchen.
âHey Lessiâ Luke smiled, not catching on that the answer to his question had just walked through the door.
âMorningâ you both mouthed at each other with a smile.
âWho the hell was it that you were kissing?â You laughed at him now as he shook his head.
âCould you not see?â Alessia asked as she whispered Stephâs name to you, loud enough that he heard it.
âAlessiaâ Luke snapped.
He slumped on the chair at the kitchen table as you were sat on the countertop with Alessiaâs back leaning against you, both of you laughing at him.
âLeah is going to murder meâ Luke whined. âCan one of you do something worse to make it better?â Luke suggested. You and Alessia shared a look, but it was missed by Luke.
âI can tryâ you smirked, not breaking the eye contact with Alessia, who smiled back at you.
You could just call your sister right now and tell her that you drunkenly slept with her teammate last night. That would certainly solve Lukeâs problem straight away. But if you told Leah or anyone what had happened, maybe it wouldnât happen again.
âYou wanna chill for awhile?â You asked and they both agreed. Luke sat on the arm chair while you and Alessia sat on the couch, he didnât bat an eyelid to how cuddly you two were. Heâd become so used to how touchy you were with each other.
It was later in the day when they both left, Luke had agreed to drop Alessia home. You were sort of glad it happened that way so you both didnât need to have an awkward conversation straight away. But you enjoyed the hug you gave to each other, it felt like something had been cemented that neither of you regretted anything.
You went straight back to working on some songs. You finally wrote one of your final few songs, and you made it clear it was about Alessia. They would always only be about her now.
-
You became hyper focused the next few days, zoned out of life entirely, working on the songs to finish the album. This whole new wave of inspiration hit you since you and Alessia, well, since that night. It left you writing far too many songs for the album. But on top of that, a wave of realisation came over you that since that night with Alessia, two things have happened.
1. You had not spoken to Alessia since
2. You hadnât thought about Mel for a singular second for the first time.
You left your house, getting straight into the car, speeding to Alessia and Leahâs house. You didnât care who was there, you were telling Alessia you loved her, even if it ruined everything. Itâd been just over a week since that night and although you both hadnât spoken, you knew you didnât regret it for a second, and you just knew she didnât either.
You opened the door with your key, kicking your shoes off, obeying the house rules even in a time like this. You headed straight towards the kitchen, where you would usually find her. Only, Alessia wasnât there. In fact, she wasnât even in the house. She was out somewhere, with somebody.
Leah and Lia were in the kitchen though, and you donât know what shocked you more, the sight of them kissing or the fact youâd been so self absorbed the last few months youâd forgotten to be a real sister to Leah. You and Leah had always been as close as close can get. But now, you were currently hiding the fact you loved someone from her, and clearly, so was she.
âLess, is that you?â Leah shouted eventually, after breaking away from her girlfriend and looking towards the door. It was only open that you could see through a small gap, she couldnât see you.
âI canât believe she agreed to a blind dateâ Lia whispered, but due to you being at the door, you heard it, and it hurt. A date?
âI just canât believe those two idiots fucked it up. I told you to let me meddleâ Leah laughed, before walking towards the door.
âI thought they were fine when they left togetherâ Lia whispered and shrugged with a laugh.
Did Alessia say something to them? Did she make a joke of it? Was it all just a mistake to her? Did you misunderstand her feelings? Was it just because she was drunk? Sheâs on a date?
Your mind was spiralling but as you heard the footsteps in the kitchen getting closer, you backed up, right to the front door.
âOh, itâs youâ Leah said, looking down the hall, beginning to walk towards you, with a smile.
You needed to pretend like you hadnât seen her and Lia, and that you hadnât heard their conversation as to where Alessia was right now. You were just finding it so hard to think of words right now. You, the award winning songwriter.
âI, uh, left something in Alessiaâs room. I just needed to grab itâ you eventually blurted out, before taking them two steps at a time.
Donât cry. Donât panic. Donât freak out. You repeated it in your head, over and over again. You felt the same numbness in your body as you did the night you confronted Mel. This was stupid, Alessia didnât owe you anything. You couldnât be upset about this. One night stands were normal.
You looked around the room for anything that belonged to you. You settled on taking a set of drum sticks that were thrown into the back of the wardrobe, as well as a random hoodie that was yours, before rushing back down the stairs and putting your shoes back on. Leah was pacing at the bottom of the staircase, like she was panicked by how quick youâd came down.
âLess should be home in 20 minutes if you wanted to wait?â Leah asked as you shook your head.
âWell if you wanted to stay anyway, me and Lia were just about to-â she began, but you cut her off.
âIâm busyâ you said, before fully slipping your shoes back on and slamming the front door shut.
âThat was weird, no?â Lia asked.
Leah just stared blankly at the front door that youâd just slammed in her face. And that was when she realised youâd heard their conversation about Alessia.
You got into your car and began driving home, turning the radio up full blast and trying to breathe normally.
-
âWhere is it?â Alessia shouted from her room, causing Lia to run in, while Leahâs was in the shower.
âWhere is what?â Lia asked, looking at the girl who was pulling her entire room apart.
âY/nâs hoodie. I hung it up this morning and itâs not hereâ she sniffled.
Alessia was so close to tears. It was the first thing youâd ever given her that belonged to you, and she loved it. She appreciated it so much that you left it here on purpose when you moved.
âRelax, we will find itâ Lia cooed, holding her shoulder briefly as they both began to look before Lia ran down to check the wash basket.
âWhatâs with all the shouting?â Leah asked, coming into the blondeâs room that looked like it had been hit by a bomb.
âI canât find Y/nâs hoodie. The one I sleep inâ Alessia blurted out. Why did she just admit that to your sister?
âIt was here this morningâ she pointed at the wardrobe and quickly changed the subject.
âOh, I think she took it when she was here earlierâ Leah shrugged, before leaving the room and headed back to her one.
âShe was here?â Alessia asked, standing up and following her.
âFor about 20 seconds. She said she needed to grab something and I think she took a hoodie and a pair of drumsticksâ Leah informed her.
âWhy did you let her in my room?â Alessia snapped.
âIt wasnât a problem when you did it for four monthsâ Leah laughed.
âWhy? Afraid sheâd see you with your date?â Your sister added as Alessia frowned.
âOh, how did it go?â Lia asked as she got to the top of the stairs empty handed.
âHow did what go?â Alessia asked in a sharp tone.
âYour dateâ Lia said.
âWhat date?â Alessia had a look of pure confusion on her face.
âThe one Steph set you up onâ Leah frowned.
âWhat are you talking about?â Alessia snapped.
âSteph told me she was setting you up on a dateâ Lia said, a confused look now forming on her face.
âNo, I was setting up Steph on a date with Lukeâ Alessia frowned.
âLiaâ Leah groaned.
âEnglish isnât my first languageâ she protested.
âDid you tell Y/n I went on a date?â She asked your sister.
âNo, not directlyâ Leah shook her head.
âWe didnât know she was hereâ Lia backed her up as Alessia left the hallway and returned to her room, slamming the door on the way in.
âIâm actually sick of them slamming doors in my houseâ Leah snapped as she went to go and give Alessia a stern talking to.
âLee, relax love. Let her be angryâ Lia whispered, placing her hand on her girlfriendâs chest and closing their bedroom door.
You drove for hours that night, not wanting to go back to Leahâs where there was so many memories with Alessia. Not wanting to go back to your own house where you shared your first kiss. You didnât want to speak to anybody or do anything. You stopped in somewhere, dawning a baseball cap and sunglasses to cover your face and picking up as much alcohol they would legally sell you and deciding to go home.
It was 3am when you looked at your smartwatch, you had a few missed calls from various people. Youâd been in your home studio for hours on end, writing utter rubbish that probably didnât contain one coherent sentence.
You couldnât believe youâd allowed yourself to fall for someone that didnât even like you back. You were Y/n Williamson, you had thousands of girls who wanted you but you wanted the one that didnât want you back. You took a bottle of whatever you saw first from the fridge, downing the entirety of it before deciding to call Leah.
âHello?â Leah groaned.
âHeyâ you slurred.
âY/n? Itâs past 3am, whatâs wrong?â Leah asked, sitting up in bed and rubbing her eyes. The movement woke Lia, but Leah swatted away her hand that moved to hold her arm.
âI thought she liked meâ you sobbed.
âWhatâs the matter?â Leah asked.
âIâm so in love with her, why would she go on a date with someone else after we kissed?â You confessed. Leah moved the phone away from her ear to talk to Lia.
âI need to go over to her, she is drunkâ Leah informed her girlfriend. âYou okay to stay here?â She asked as the Swiss girl nodded and fell back asleep quickly.
âListen, Iâll be right over okay? Can you try and get a glass of water?â She asked as you hummed.
Leah tiptoed around the house and slipped out the front door, without waking anybody. It wasnât long before you felt her arms wrapped around you as you sobbed against her.
âItâs okayâ she cooed as she brushed her fingers through your hair.
âI love herâ you whispered against her chest.
âI knowâ she patted your back. âShe didnât go on a date. She set one up for someone elseâ Leah informed you, opting to leave out that it was for Luke in this moment.
âBut, you said-â you began, before she tutted.
âYouâll have to forgive Liaâs lack of English comprehensionâ Leah laughed as you took a deep breath.
âIâm such a fucking idiotâ you sobbed as she pulled you in against her.
âYouâre both idiots. Iâve told you both this for monthsâ Leah told you. âYou both have told the wrong people about your feelings. Just tell each otherâ Leah said as you shrugged.
You didnât want to think about Alessia anymore. Sheâd consumed your thoughts since the day you met her.
âYou and Lia?â You asked as she nodded. âIâm happy for youâ you smiled as you hugged her properly now.
âIâm sorry I havenât been there for youâ you sighed as she shook her head.
âYouâve had shit going onâ she smiled.
âSo have youâ you replied as she shrugged.
âWhen is your album due?â She asked as you checked your watch dramatically.
âAbout three days agoâ you chuckled as she laughed.
âHow many more songs?â She sized up, usually you wouldnât even give her that much.
âIâm done writing. I just ended up writing probably three albums worthâ you sighed.
âAre they about her?â Leah asked as you nodded. âDoes it feel right?â She probed as you shrugged.
âWell, if you do use them, maybe you should tell her, you know, before you tell the entire worldâ Leah laughed as you stuck the finger up at her.
âCome on, letâs go to bedâ Leah pulled you towards the stairs. She tucked you into bed before starting to head towards the door.
âLeeâ you whispered.
âYeah?â
âCan you stay?â You asked.
âYeah, Iâll just be in my roomâ she smiled, but you shook your head.
âCan you stay with me?â You rephrased as she began walking towards you.
âOf course I canâ she jumped in beside you as you cuddled into her and both of you fell asleep.
-
When Leah woke the next morning, you were nowhere to be found. She could hear the sound of drums coming from two floors down. She stretched before she stood up and headed downstairs, sending Lia a text on her way down.
âSounds different?â Leah asked with a smirk on her face from the door.
âHey, get out. You know the rulesâ you swatted her away.
âYou owe me, you woke me at 3am and have now woken me again at 9am to the sound of drumsâ she laughed.
âWell if you must know, Iâm doneâ you shrugged.
âThe album?â She shouted as you nodded. âIâm so proud of youâ she ran towards you and picked you up, spinning you around with a struggle. You were far taller than Leah was.
âI thought you had too many songs?â She chuckled as you shrugged.
âI just picked the ones that made the most sense for this album, itâs a bit longer than I planned it to beâ
âSo you two kissed?â Leah raised an eyebrow as you groaned. âWas it after the Chelsea game?â She asked.
âYeahâ you sighed. âWe were both drunkâ you explained.
âSo, do you regret it?â She raised her eyebrows at you.
âNo, god noâ you shook your head. âI meant what I said last night. Iâm in love with herâ your head fell to the floor.
âYou know sheâs into you too right?â Leah asked.
âI donât know, I think she just wants to be friendsâ you shrugged.
âNo, she told me months ago she really liked youâ Leah laughed.
âYouâve known this for months and you havenât told me?â You frowned.
âLia would literally kill me if she knew I was telling you nowâ Leah said defensively. Lia hated that she was getting so involved with you and Alessiaâs relationship.
âSpeaking of people who will kill me, I need to call Annaâ you said as she nodded.
âIâm gonna head home but text me if you need meâ she smiled, hugging you goodbye before she left and headed home. She stopped herself at the front door.
âWould you mind if I took that hoodie back? Alessia was really upset you took itâ you stared at her. It took you a few seconds to realise what she was referring to.
âIâll drop it to her laterâ you informed her as she nodded.
âWas it just a kiss?â Leah smirked.
âGoodbye Leahâ you groaned as her smirk grew wider and she left.
You left it a bit to call Anna, understanding that time difference was a real concept which was lost on some people in your circle.
âMy English superstar, how are you?â She hummed.
âIâm finishedâ you shrugged.
âI listened to it this morning. I love them, all of themâ she smiled. âIâve got you booked in the morning for a recording session and Iâve asked Luke to go with youâ she smiled.
âOkay cool, thanksâ you said.
âWho is she?â Anna asked as you frowned.
âWho is who?â You asked.
âCome on, the songs are clearly about somebody. Is it that blonde girl?â She asked as you rolled your eyes.
âI pay you to manage me, not to judge meâ you smirked.
âFine, I guess Iâll just ask your marketing manager. I know he will tell me.â she stuck her tongue out at you before hanging up.
You drove to Alessia and Leahâs house later, with the hoodie and all of Alessiaâs favourite treats in a bag in the passenger seat. When you got in, you headed up to her room and left everything on the bed. It was disheartening that nobody was in when you called around, but they had jobs and friends and werenât always free for you. You waited around for a little bit, but after no sign you decided to head off.
It was late when your phone pinged.

Luke picked you up the next morning and drove you to the studio. Today was mostly about getting the sounding right and your instruments put in.

Youâd told Alessia that you would be off the grid for the next few days. Recording was a super busy and stressful time. On her way to St. Georgeâs Park, she quickly called you.
âHey Less, Iâm so sorry, I literally have two secondsâ you rushed out.
âI was calling just to say-â Alessia trailed off.
âYeah?â You said softly, trying not to rush her but you were in a rush.
âI canât wait to see youâ she said. âI miss youâ she added.
âI miss you tooâ you smiled. âIâll make sure itâs something nice that we doâ you confirmed.
âGood luck with recordingâ Alessia said.
âGood luck with campâ you nodded.
She was perfect. You had to make this work.
-
You ended up texting each other every single day. Sometimes snapping photos to send to one another, sometime sneaking phone calls in. But it never got overly flirty. You and Alessia really did love being friends and you valued her in your life that way. But it was hard not to miss Alessiaâs smile whenever her phone pinged with a message from you.
Specifically by the person who she spent the most time with on camp.
âHey Leah?â Ella asked. Her and Alessia were best friends and sure, sheâd talked to Ella about you, but Ella was in Manchester and didnât see Alessia as often as she would have when they played for United.
âWhatâs up, Tooney?â Leah replied, picking up cones from the training session.
âIs Alessia and your sister, like, a thing?â She blurted out.
âWhy would you think that?â Leah said with a smirk.
âDonât play thick with meâ Ella laughed.
âThey both like each other and I think they got drunk and kissed awhile agoâ Leah shrugged.
âOh I thought they slept- uh anywayâ Ella coughed. âWhy havenât you done something?â Ella nudged her.
âIâve been told not to get involvedâ Leah smirked.
âIf she was still in Manchester, Iâd be meddlingâ Ella shrugged with a chuckle.
âI think theyâre figuring it outâ Leah informed her as they went quiet and they walked into the changing room.

When you both returned to normal life, you slipped into that the same comfortable friendly pattern. Now that you both had some free time, it was spent mostly with eachother, Luke, Leah and Lia. Sometimes Steph came along too now that her and Luke had a thing. It was painful watching Lia and Leah and now Luke and Steph be so coupley, when you could hardly even look at Alessia.
Youâd never been overly good at putting your feelings out there or acting on how you felt. With Mel it was easy, because she kissed you one night and you fell madly in love.
You never talked about that night after the Chelsea game, or your feelings. You were both far too afraid to ruin the friendship. So you stayed friends, close friends, but just friends. Maybe that was all that was meant for you and Alessia.
-
It was just the two of you in your house one evening, Luke in his own apartment with Steph and Leah over at Liaâs. You knew she hated being alone, so you invited her over to spend the night.
âYou canât be serious?â You laughed as she came running from the kitchen.
âI swear, lookâ she sighed, shoving her phone in your face, showing you the outfit that Ella had picked for her to wear to a team bonding session.
She flopped back on the couch beside you, looking over at your guitar that was propped up on a stand in the corner. You never had instruments laying around the house, they were always downstairs.
âWere you working on something?â She asked, pointing towards the guitar.
âI was just messing around earlierâ you shrugged, picking up the remote and starting to flick through movies. Sheâd gotten to your house quicker than expected so you never got to put it away.
âI liked when you played for me that timeâ she admitted, eyes shifting back towards the guitar. When you looked at her, her eyes told you everything you needed to know.
âFine, one song and then weâre watching thisâ you said, pausing the movie youâd picked and getting up to grab the guitar.
âWhat song?â You asked as you sat back down and played softly to make sure it was in tune.
âOne I havenât heardâ she whispered, head on your shoulder.
âI donât play new songsâ you shrugged.
âMake an exceptionâ she squeezed your arm with a giggle.
Youâd never played something that you hadnât released for someone, apart from members of your team. Youâd also never told Alessia after months of feeling like this that you liked her more than friends. So, maybe there was a first time for everything.
âI did write something, but I didnât finish itâ you said as she nodded in approval and you began to play. Your hands were shaking a bit, and your voice trembled slightly.
âTakinâ it slowly, youâre afraid to be lonely
Nobody told me, itâs harder than I thought to tell the truth
Itâs gonna leave me in pieces, all alone with my demons
And I know that we need this, but Iâve been too afraid to follow throughâ
Youâd probably never felt more nervous in your life, despite playing for millions of people across your career, this was the most panicked youâd ever felt.
âHold me close and I wonât leave, cause it hurts when you hurt somebody
So much to say, but I donât speak, and I hate that I let you stop me
Cause it hurts when you hurt somebodyâ
You stopped playing but couldnât even make eye contact with her.
âYeah, something like thatâ you shrugged.
âYou should finish itâ she nudged you in the arm before you stood up to put the guitar back on its stand and jumping back onto the couch.
You pressed play as she leaned her head against your shoulder again to get comfortable. The movie played for just a couple of minutes before she paused it. Luckily, you had managed to stay awake due to your chest beating so fast from playing the song.
âWhat is that song about?â She asked, staring straight ahead.
You didnât reply to her at first, you didnât look in her direction either. You couldnât.
âI guess, Iâve had some feelings that I havenât really been too open aboutâ you sighed. There was silence for a long time. You bit the bullet.
âI think- I donât want to be just friends with you anymore, Lessâ you whispered.
âIâve never wanted to just be your friendâ she admitted as you turned to look at each other now for the first time.
âKiss meâ she said as you leaned in.
âAre you sure?â You asked quickly, waiting for the slightest of nods before you closed the gap and pressed your lips against hers.
âI want you so badlyâ Alessia hummed, intensity rising as you kissed harder.
âI havenât been able to stop thinking about youâ you admitted as you kissed the girlâs neck.
âNo more talkingâ Alessia shook her head, placing her finger to your lips. âLetâs go upstairsâ she smirked as you both rushed upstairs.
One thing was for sure, youâd never just be friends again.
âWhere do we go from here?â Alessia asked while you were both lying in bed, cuddled up like usual. Sure, youâd woken up having done this with her before, but this wasnât a drunk one night thing, there was so much more to it this time.
âIâm not sure, youâre a bad kisserâ you teased as she flicked your cheek and shot her head up off your chest.
âI am notâ she gasped with a slight uptick of her lips. She was beginning to realise just how alike to Leah you actually were. She loved how you could be such a windup.
âOh yeah?â You smirked. âWanna prove it?â She leaned up and pressed her lips to yours, pulling away after a few seconds, waiting for you to say something.
âMehâ you teased again as she sighed and flopped down beside you.
âAre you going to answer the question?â She asked as you turned to look at her with a smile.
âI guess weâre dating?â You shrugged
âNot if thatâs how youâre going to ask meâ she giggled at you as you rolled your eyes.
âWill you be my girlfriend then, Less?â You breathed out.
âYesâ she blurted out, straddling you and kissing you again.
You both decided to take it slowly with telling people you had made it official. Alessia hadnât publicly spoken out about her sexuality and you thought it would be better for things to be further into the relationship before you let the public know about the two of you. When youâd first started dating Mel, you werenât that well known, so it was fine. But as time progressed, Mel was getting literal invitations to fights with different girls and in extreme cases, death threats.
You were spending a lot more time together, obviously. But as luck would have it, Leah and Luke were too distracted by their own girlfriends to even realise how much closer you had both become. It would mostly be her over at your house because it was easier that way, for privacy for you both. You hadnât went on a proper date yet, you usually spent your free time just fully engrossed in the other person.
-
You were invited to a Spotify event next month to promote the new album that was coming out later in the year. You flew the band over to London and had spent the last few days in a hotel with them, catching up properly and rehearsing the new songs. You hadnât seen them since you recorded the album and only some of them were involved in that part. Mostly Holly. The two of you could do the work of 40 people if you really tried.
âHonestly, if you donât win a Grammy this year you should just retireâ Anna laughed, watching over the rehearsal.
You got a free few minutes while the guys were tuning up their instruments and you decided to call Alessia. Youâd been dating now for about a month and a half, but had told absolutely nobody. You liked the calmness of it all. It was way easier not having to feel like you were on constant display, like you were with Mel.
Alessiaâs phone was buzzing on the kitchen counter, close to where Leah was standing, trying to fix a lightbulb that was positioned under the cabinet. The light helped Alessia see better when she was cooking, and she was refusing to cook until it was fixed. Leah didnât really have much of a clue what she was doing but was willing to ram the bulb in and hope for the best so she could get Alessia to cook dinner tonight.
âLess, your phoneâ Leah shouted as she glanced at the picture.
She didnât take much notice at first but she done a double take when she saw your name, and then realised it was you in the photo. Alessia ran down the stairs, grabbing her phone with a smile as she answered. Leah was just staring at her with her jaw on the ground.
âHey, babyâ she whispered once she was out of earshot of Leah.
âHi beautiful, you okay?â You asked as she nodded into the phone until she eventually remembered you couldnât see her and muffled a positive sounding noise.
âStill working?â She frowned.
âAlmost done, weâre just doing one more run through of a song and then calling it quits for the nightâ you smiled.
âHow long do you have?â Alessia asked.
âY/nâ Anna shouted.
âMinus 10 secondsâ you laughed as she sighed. Youâd been so caught up rehearsing that youâd barely spoken to each other in the last few days.
âI miss youâ she moped.
âI miss you more, Lessâ you breathed out. âBut listen, I have this event that Iâm performing at next month. Are you okay to come? You could bring a friend if you didnât want to make it look like, you knowâ you shrugged.
âIâm happy to sit there without anybodyâ she smiled.
âWell, my parents will be thereâ you laughed as she froze. âAs well as Luke and possibly Stephâ you said as she took a deep breath.
âCan you ask Leah to invite Lia?â You said and she agreed. âOkay, I have to go. Iâll call you later darlinââ you smiled as she walked back into the kitchen.
âOkay, okay, Iâll talk to you laterâ she giggled, walking back into the kitchen. âYeah, Iâll tell herâ she rolled her eyes as you reminded her about asking Leah again, before hanging up. She now looked at Leah who was still stood in a state of shock.
âLeah?â Alessia frowned as she waved her hand in front of her face. âHello?â Alessia again.
âYou and my sister?â She asked as Alessiaâs eyes went wide.
âWhat?â Alessia gulped.
âThe pictureâ Leah said as she pointed to the phone that still in Alessiaâs hand. âAre you two-â she tried as she trailed off.
âItâs newâ Alessia finally said. âWeâve been dating for just over a monthâ.
Leah always thought if her friend or team mate ever said that they were dating you or Jacob, that she would be first in line to punch them. But instead, all she could do was smile and pull Alessia into a huge hug.
âWell, Iâm glad you both figured that outâ she whispered to her blonde house mate.
âMe tooâ Alessia laughed.
âIs that what you had to tell me?â Leah asked as Alessia was reminded of the conversation you had just had with her on the phone.
âOh noâ Alessia shook her head. âSheâs doing an event thing next month to perform the songs from the new album and she wants you and Lia to comeâ Alessia smiled.
Youâd hung up the phone to Alessia and got back to practice, finishing later on in the day and heading back to the hotel room you were sharing with Luke. Life had become so much easier now that he was around all the time for work.
âLeah and Lia are coming, Alessia is coming, just invite Steph manâ you laughed at your friend who was starting to become serious with his now girlfriend, Steph.
âDid she go to your last concert?â He asked as you thought back to that night.
âYeah, Iâm almost 100% sure that we spokeâ you assured him.
âOkayâ he took a deep breath before putting the phone to his ear. âJust needed to make sure she doesnât find your music as insufferable as I doâ he smirked as you stuck your finger up at him.
You walked into the kitchen area of the hotel room to give him some privacy, and you took out your phone that you hadnât checked since your call with Alessia.

âOkay, sheâs comingâ Luke said as he left the bedroom with a big grin on his face, but he was quick to notice the smile on your face as you glared at your phone.
âWhat you smiling at?â He teased as you looked up.
âNothingâ you shrugged.
âCome on, I know somethingâs got you smilingâ he said, peering at your phone. âOr should I say someone?â He chuckled, looking at the messages, but youâd moved your phone away quick enough he didnât see the name.
âIs it Lessi?â He smirked at you, and you thought it would be funny to annoy him.
âNah, I gave up on that oneâ you shrugged. âItâs your sisterâ you laughed as the smirk wiped off his face.
âIt better not be my sisterâ he frowned, trying to grab your phone as you cried out in laughter.
âIâm jokingâ you pushed him off you and shook your head at him, still grinning.
âIâve been seeing Less for just over a month, we just wanted to see how it went before we told anybodyâ. He didnât react at first, verbally anyway. He just picked you up and spun you around before he began shouting.
âIâm so fucking happy for both of youâ he practically squealed as you tried to loosen out of his hold. âThis is so unlike usâ he laughed as he let you down, finally.
âWhat?â You chuckled.
âBoth living in the same city, both with girlfriendsâ he grinned.
âAnd you like my girlfriend, thatâs newâ you teased.
âMel was horrible, you can surely see that now?â He laughed as you rolled your eyes and shrugged.
âThis is great though, we can double dateâ he smiled as you looked at him, expressionless. âWhat?â He frowned.
âI havenât actually taken her on a date yetâ you chuckled.
âHow do you get girls to go out you?â he groaned and shook his head at you.
-
It was looming closer to your pre album release performance, and you realised that you kind of needed to tell your parents that you and Alessia were together. She also came to the realisation that her parents and brothers should probably know about you too.
Neither of you were really one to make a big deal out of anything, so you told them about Alessia in the most subtle and easy-going way possible.
âFamily dinner on Thursdayâ your mum told you when youâd stopped over at the house.
âNow mum, when you say family dinner, what do you mean?â you moaned. She had a bad habit of inviting around 100 people over any chance that she got.
âNo love, itâll just be your sister, Lia, your dad, you and Iâ she smiled. âOh do you want to bring Luke and that lovely girl, Steph?â She smiled.
âWould it be alright if Luke sat this one out?â You asked, eyes planted to the ground.
âOh, are you two fighting?â She frowned as you looked at her like sheâd asked a stupid question. You and Luke had never, ever fought.
âNo, itâs not thatâ you shook your head. âI actually wanted to bring someone different if thatâs okay?â you smiled.
âAre you seeing someone?â She gasped as your dad slid into the kitchen out of absolutely nowhere.
âPlease donât say itâs the the wicked witch of-â he began.
âDadâ you groaned. âNo, uhâ you mumbled.
âWho is it?â Your mum squeezed your hands.
âItâs Alessiaâ you smiled.
âRusso?â Your dad asked
âLeahâs house mate?â Your mum looked shocked.
âNo, the other Alessia that all three us knowâ you laughed as they looked at you as if you were serious.
âJesus Christ, obviously Alessia Russo, Leahâs House Mate, to use her full nameâ you sighed.
âThat is great newsâ your dad slapped your shoulder hard making you wince.
âOh loveâ your mum almost started crying as she wrapped you into a big hug. âShe is such a lovely girlâ.
Meanwhile, Alessia was having difficulty explaining things to her parents, but not for the reason you might think.
âYouâre going out with Leah?â Alessiaâs mum asked as she groaned.
âNo mum, for the millionth timeâ Alessia rolled her eyes.
âExplain it againâ her dad grumbled as Alessia stood in front of them, both now sitting looking at her in full concentration.
âI am dating Leahâs sister, Y/nâ Alessia drilled into them.
âIn your dreamsâ Luca, Alessiaâs brother, laughed from the opposite couch.
âLucaâ his dad warned.
âDad seriously, Y/n is this huge celebrity and Alessia thinks she could pull herâ he laughed again.
âSheâs my girlfriendâ Alessia snapped.
âInvite her around thenâ Luca smirked.
âWhat, now?â Alessia laughed.
âYeah, nowâ he challenged.
Alessia, without another word, took out her phone and started texting you. Her mum quickly rushed around the house as she began cleaning up now that it had sunk in that a celebrity may or may not be coming to her house.

You walked up to the door and you gently knocked. A very big man opened the door, Alessiaâs other brother, Giorgio, who was upstairs when this whole conversation kicked off.
âHelloâ he smiled, âCan I help you?â He asked. You liked when people didnât recognise you. It meant you might be able to have a normal, human conversation for a change.
âIâm looking for Alessiaâ you smiled back at him.
âLessiâ he shouted, only now hearing the argument in the living room between his two siblings. âCome inâ he gestured you inside and you stepped in, closing the door behind you.
âIâm Y/n, by the wayâ you stuck your hand out and he shook it.
âGiorgioâ he smiled, shaking your hand. Luca came stumbling out of the living room as Alessia tumbled out behind him.
âYou two are so embarrassingâ he rolled his eyes as we went into his parents who were in the kitchen.
âHiâ you smiled at your girlfriend.
âCan you just tell him weâre dating?â Alessia frowned.
âMe and you?â You asked as she gave you such a glare that you knew it was a serious request. âIn your dreamsâ you smirked.
âI like youâ Luca smiled as he followed Giorgio into the kitchen.
âY/nâ Alessia groaned while you laughed and placed a kiss on her lips.
âYou ready?â You asked.
âCome say hi to my mum and dadâ she giggled, practically pulling you by the hand and into the kitchen. You didnât even get time to be anxious about meeting your girlfriendâs parents for the first time properly.
âMum, dad, this is Y/nâ Alessia smiled.
âLovely to meet you bothâ you went to shake their hands but they both pulled you into a hug.
âWould you like a cup of tea, love? Please sit downâ her mum gestured you towards the table as Alessia nodded at you to say that you should sit down. You ended up staying at the Russoâs family home for a few hours, getting to know them properly. Youâd briefly met in Australia at a family event for the girls, but couldnât remember even speaking to them.
âWe better goâ Alessia yawned. You frowned at her yawning at 5pm, but sheâd had training earlier in the day.
âIt was lovely meeting you allâ you smiled.
âCome around again, anytimeâ Alessiaâs dad said. You opened the car door for her as she slipped inside and you made your way to the driver seat.
âLook at that fucking carâ Luca shouted.
âCost a fortuneâ Giorgio said, googling it quickly to get the exact figure. âHave you seen the house?â He asked, showing his phone to Luca.
âÂŁ2.2 millionâ Luca gasped, taking the phone out of his brotherâs hands.
âHungry?â You asked as the girl nodded. âWant to get something on the way home?â
âWhat you thinking?â She giggled.
âI would love something like a McDonaldsâ you shrugged.
âThereâs one just up here to the rightâ she pointed and put her hand down on yours, holding the gear stick.
You pulled in and got out of the car without hesitation, you were so wrapped up with being with her you forgot about the fact you were both actual celebrities and couldnât just walk in somewhere. You both stood at the kiosk and banged your order into the screen.
âIâm surprised you know how to do this all on your ownâ Alessia smirked as you punched her arm lightly. You grabbed the receipt as you stood tapping your fingers off your thighs and staring at the screen.
âExcuse me?â A little voice piped up beside Alessia, who whipped her head around. âAre you Y/n Williamson?â She asked, eyes fixated on you. Alessia nudged you briefly as you looked at her.
âShe wants to know if youâre Y/n Williamsonâ she smiled as you looked down at the child standing beside her. You smiled at the little girl and she squealed with excitement at the full realisation that you were in fact, Y/n Williamson.
âIâm so sorry, she was refusing to leave until we agreed she could askâ a woman, who appeared to be her mum, said.
You took a picture with the girl before the mum thanked you and the kid ran off with excitement.
â23â a young guy shouted from behind the counter.
Alessia grabbed the receipt and walked up to the counter, grabbing the food and nudging you out of the fast food chain with her hands full. You drove back to yours and dished out the food. You were at the kitchen table eating some nuggets when the conversation picked up.
âSo, you met my familyâ Alessia giggled as you laughed.
âYeah, it was weird because I was just coming from telling my parents about you and-â you began.
âYou told your parents?â She asked.
âYeah, is that okay?â You looked at her trying to read her expression.
âIâm sorry, I was just so wrapped up in you meeting mine that I never even asked what you did todayâ she grabbed your hand.
âDid your family like me?â You asked nervously.
âThey loved youâ she smiled, jumping over to sit on your lap.
âMy mum wants you to come over Thursday for family dinnerâ you smiled as she kissed you.
âLook at us being all grown upâ she giggled as you fell into a deep kiss.
-
When it got to Thursday, you picked up the three girls from their house and drove to your parentâs house. Even though your families and Luke knew you were together, they hadnât really seen much of how the two of you interacted with one another as a couple. Naturally, Leah was taken aback by how you were both even more cute than when you would just cuddle on the sofa bed in her house all those months ago.
Your mum and dad were dishing out big hugs like always with everyone. They already loved Alessia from what they knew of her living with Leah, but that was solidified after tonight. Your mum called Jacob, like she did at every family dinner. You could only get a brief few words in, telling him about the upcoming event you were going to be performing at. He told you about his last game before the Australia Summer break.
You called and texted him every so often, you were both busy people and time difference certainly didnât help. Leah was the same, but they talked a little bit more. Maybe if you didnât leave at 16 youâd be closer to him, and when you finally came to your senses and came home, he was gone.
Alessia and Lia were clearly up to something as both of them began helping your mum with the cleaning up, ignoring her protests. You and Leah followed your dad into the living room so he could rant and rave about the two of them being amazing and good enough for his daughters. You were both just happy they werenât present for this conversation.
âAmanda?â Lia asked.
âYes dear?â Your mum replied.
âWe were both planning on doing something for Leah and Y/n, but we wanted to make sure it was okay with you firstâ Alessia whispered.
-
Luke was over in your house putting the final touches to your gig next week, while you were practically zoning him out and setting up the kitchen. You still hadnât taken Alessia out on a proper first date, but the thoughts of going out somewhere when you couldnât even run in and out of McDonalds without being recognised was too much to deal with.
âDo you have all that?â Luke asked.
âYes, every last wordâ you smiled and he knew you were lying.
âCan you concentrate for 2 minutes?â He huffed. âWhat are you even doing?â
âI invited Less over for dinnerâ you explained as his face softened. He liked how loved up you were and he loved Alessia, she was great for you.
â2 minutes and then Iâll helpâ he suggested as you caved and stopped.
He ran through the event and you actually did take every word in this time. When he was finished, he was true to his word and helped you getting set up. When everything was sorted, all that was left to do was kick Luke out.
âYeah, yeah Iâm goingâ he chuckled hugging you goodbye and heading off.
âIâll call you tomorrowâ you shouted after him, straightening the cutlery on the table for the 50th time.
He closed the kitchen door behind him and headed down the hallway to the front door. As he opened the door, a smiling blonde was making her way up the driveway.
âHello strangerâ he laughed, giving her a hug.
âHiâ she smiled, melting into the hug. The two had become really close friends since first meeting all those months ago now.
âDid you sort that out then?â He smirked.
âYes. Her and Leah have no idea but we ran it by Amanda firstâ Alessia smiled.
âOh good, Amanda would have killed youâ Luke laughed. âI wonât keep you from your girlfriendâ he teased.
âThank youâ she giggled. âTell Steph I said hiâ she teased back as they hugged and she stepped inside.
âY/n?â Alessia shouted from the hallway as you appeared from behind the kitchen door. She walked towards you and placed a kiss to your lips.
âHi darlinââ you smiled.
âWhat smells so nice?â She asked.
âI made dinnerâ you replied as she looked around the room. Candles were burning and music was playing at a low hum.
âI realised that I havenât taken you out on a date yet, and I will. I just thought a proper dinner alone might be a good place to start?â You asked as she kissed you again. You caught up on the last few days over dinner. Youâd been rehearsing and she had training and had a match.
âYou know, we donât need to do the whole first date thingâ she muttered as she played with the food on her plate.
âWhat do you mean?â You stuttered. You panicked in that moment, thinking she was about to tell you it was over. She sensed your panic, like she always did.
âOh no, shit no, sorryâ she blurted out grabbing your hand. âI meant, first dates are for getting to know the person. But I know you and you know me, so you donât need to stress about this perfect romantic first date or big romantic gesture. Iâm really happyâ she smiled as you leaned over to kiss her.
âIâm really happy tooâ you said as you sat back in your chair.
âSo this event next weekâ she continued.
âYeah?â You asked as you noticed a smirk on her face.
âIs there any better artists performing or is it just you?â She laughed.
âYouâre spending too much time with Leahâ you pointed your fork at her.
âI think itâs a different Williamson that Iâm spending too much time withâ she smirked.
âOh, is that so?â You laughed as you jumped up from the table and picked her up.
âLet me downâ she squealed with laughter before you eventually dropped her to the ground.
She placed a quick peck on your lips before things got intense, very quickly. The food became long forgotten as you both practically sprinted upstairs. You were both happy in your little bubble.
You woke the next morning with a sense of stress, now suddenly realising you were in a very serious relationship with someone you really liked. And the stressful part? You were two days off telling the entire world that you were cheated on but you were in love again. You didnât see Alessia was already awake when you startled up, but she grabbed your hand and immediately settled your heart beat down to a normal rate.
âBaby, itâs okayâ she wrapped you up as your breathing settled. âWhatâs wrong?â She asked.
âCan I take you somewhere today?â You asked as she nodded. âOkay, be ready in 10â you smirked as you decided to stress her out.
âYou can not give me 10 minutesâ she scowled. âI have so many questions, where are we going? What is the dress code? Are we eating?â
âIâm jokingâ you kissed her cheek. â5 minutesâ you smirked as you jumped up out of bed.
âY/nâ she grunted. âIf I knew you were this much of a wind up I would have said no when you asked me outâ she laughed.
âI just need to be there for around 12â you smiled, as she sighed in relief realising it was only 9am. You gave her a quick kiss as you pottered into the bathroom. It was a little while later when you were both ready and had breakfast, that you headed off.
âAre you not telling me where weâre going to purposely annoy me?â She giggled as you shrugged.
âYouâll see when we get there, wonât you?â You laughed.
You pulled up outside the Spotify building in London, where your gig was going to be in a two days time. She turned to look at you as you pulled into the car park, after speaking with security briefly.
âWhy are we here?â She asked with her eyebrows raised.
âI have a final sound check today and I wanted you to hear the album before it goes outâ you shrugged.
âBut you never let anybody hear anything?â She questioned, a bit taken a back.
âYouâre not just anybodyâ you smiled. âIâve been pretty anxious about the albumâ
âIâm sure itâs amazing, everything you do isâ she smiled.
It wasnât want you meant, but you appreciated the compliment. You werenât nervous about people hearing it, you were nervous about her hearing it. You walked in, hand in hand, not really caring who saw as it was just your band. You pointed over towards the seats where Luke and Anna were sitting as she kissed your cheek and walked over.
âSheâs letting you hear then?â Luke smirked.
âApparently soâ Alessia giggled.
âIs that her?â Holly asked, nudging you.
âWho?â You winked at her as she rolled her eyes.
âShe must be special. Even the wicked witch of the east side wasnât allowed to listenâ she laughed.
âIs this a nickname everyone was aware of but me?â You frowned as she shoved the guitar in your hand with a cheeky grin.
âOkay letâs go right through from the beginningâ you explained as the music kicked in.
You played your first three songs:
Youâre Gonna Go Far, a song youâd written that about leaving home
Your Bones and then Everywhere, Everything were the two songs youâd written about Mel.
âAre they about Mel?â Alessia asked Luke who didnât look at her.
âI think soâ Luke nodded. âShe said it was going to be a bit of a story so I guess it was naturalâ he added as Alessia nodded.
Was your new girlfriend overly happy that youâd written not one, but two love songs about your ex? No. She wasnât angry, she was just-
âI fucking hate them twoâ you groaned, you thought, far enough away from the microphone, but it was heard by everyone in the room.
âThey are good songs thoughâ Holly laughed, also heard into the mic. âYou know that wicked witch is going to have a field day when she hears themâ.
âLetâs just keep goingâ you suggested as you looked over to a now smiling Alessia who was laughing about something with Luke.
Next up, you played Nice To Meet You.
âThis canât be a chronological storyâ Alessia giggled.
âWhy not?â Luke laughed.
âSheâs talking about meeting someone when she was still with Melâ Alessia explained as Luke shrugged.
You played Porch Light, the start of the songs that kicked off heartbreak. It was in this moment you realised you had more heartbreak songs than love ones. But it was the first time you had ever written about being broken hearted.
You were moving around the stage effortlessly, switching instruments between songs. Holly done the same, both of you could play anything. You moved to the piano to play your next one, Maybe
âAnna, we surely canât let her-â Luke tried but Anna stopped him.
âIf she wants to out Mel, leave her beâ she tutted. Anna hated Mel, much like Luke did. But Luke was worried about backlash that Anna didnât see, but Anna saw everything. The boy would learn that.
You stayed at the piano to play your next three, A Little Bit Yours, In The Kitchen and Loud
âSo this is chronological?â Alessia asked.
âIt seems that wayâ Luke shrugged.
âWho did she meet when she was still with Mel?â She whispered as he was lost in thought.
You went back to the guitar and played this one, She, on your own, while Holly grabbed a violin and everyone else was taking in some water and a snack.
âLuke, do you think-â Alessia asked but she was quickly shushed by Anna. Alessia had even waited until youâd stopped singing to say something but Anna was getting sick of the constant talking.
You played two back to back. She Calls Me Back you played on guitar and Constellations you played on the piano. Alessia was point blank refusing to take any of this in. You did not write an album and make half of it about her. You couldnât have, right? Youâd written about that night and maybe the multiple nights that followed since you became a couple. You were being vulnerable in your music and while Alessia could have been embarrassed, she embraced it. The song was about her. You loved her.
From that point, when you had 4 songs left, Alessia remained tight lipped and in shock that you were saying these things, that the world was about to know these things and how you felt about her.
Youâd laid them out on the album like Sparks, The Only Exception, Beautiful Crazy and Anyone.
âAmazingâ Anna stood and clapped. âSimply wonderful, you are a superstarâ she headed over to someone on the stage as they began talking.
âYou alright?â Luke asked, gripping Alessiaâs hand, who was now a sobbing mess. âOh come on, she wasnât that badâ he teased as she punched him in the arm.
âBetween you, Leah and her, I never get a second away from being wound upâ she giggled.
The pair walked up to you as you caught the look of her tear stained eyes. You felt so guilty in that moment for including the songs about Mel.
âFuck, I knew it was a bad decisionâ you huffed, shaking your head. Holly immediately picked up what you meant.
âYou have other songs, you could switch themâ Holly suggested.
âI just wanted it to be like a story but it was so stupid putting them songs on it about her. Iâm so sorry, Lessâ you felt Alessiaâs hands grip yours and pull you into a hug.
âDonât change anything. It was amazingâ she smiled against you.
âAre you sure?â You asked as she nodded. You felt a nudge into the back that you knew came from your guitarist.
âThis is Holly, by the wayâ you stepped back to allow them to greet each other and introduced the rest of the band.
âThis is my girlfriend, Alessiaâ you smiled, squeezing her hand a bit tighter. She loved how that word sounded, and even more so it was how you introduced her to people.
âShe seems happy?â Anna whispered to Luke, wriggling her eyebrows at him.
âLessi looks after her. You donât have to worry about anything with herâ Luke smiled.
-
âLess, we have to goâ you shouted. You were already running 10 minutes late and London traffic is never the ideal.
âCan I just say, she is the best girl youâve ever introduced us toâ your mum announced loudly.
âSo much nicer than the wicked-â your dad added.
âDadâ you huffed, cutting him off.
âHe has a pointâ Leah got involved.
âLeahâ your mum warned them both with her eyes.
âWe love Alessia, Lia and Stephâ Amanda said, squeezing Lia and Stephâs cheeks as the two of them giggled.
âBut isnât Luke not-â Steph tried to say before Leah stopped her.
âBest not to open that can of wormsâ Leah shook her head and shot Steph a look.
Your parents always had seen Luke as a son, even though he was scared of your dad. He would always be at your house when he ran away from home. Even when he didnât run away, he was still always in your house. Just another Williamson sibling in the eyes of everyone in your house.
Alessia was stood in your bedroom looking out the window and only moved when she seen the limousine pull up.
âLia, Steph, can you come help me?â She shouted from the top of the stairs as the two girls proceed to run up.
âLukeâ Steph giggled as he smirked and also went with them.
âWhy are they acting weird?â Leah frowned.
âItâs you football peopleâ you teased. âDo they not teach you how to be on time at work?â You groaned.
A knock on the door came as you grunted loudly. You werenât sure how someone was at the door but it had to be someone who knew the code to the gate.
âDonât answer it, we are already lateâ you explained as your dad shook his head and headed to the door. He knew who it was, as did your mum. You and Leah had no idea.
âLess, pleaseâ you roared up the stairs. âAnna is going to murder meâ you sighed, put your hands through your hair and anxiously checked your expensive watch for what felt like the 100th time.
âItâs your girlfriendâs faultâ Leah mocked as you shot her a look. Even if it was Alessiaâs fault, you werenât going to admit that.
âLeah, leave your sister aloneâ your dad tutted as he returned to the room.
âWho was at the door?â You asked.
âSome young boy, wanted to know if Y/n Williamson lived here. He said he needed a place to stay and heard she bought this big, fancy houseâ your dad laughed as you and Leah looked at him like he had six heads.
âYouâre right dad, the guest room closest to the stairs is nicerâ Jacob laughed as you and Leah instantly shot to your feet.
âWhat the fuck?â you shouted.
âLanguageâ your mum tutted.
âHow are you here?â Leah gasped as she pulled him into a hug.
âYour girlfriendsâ he shrugged as the four reappeared behind him while you and Leah exchanged a look.
âReady to go?â Luke asked, as if nothing was out of the ordinary.
âDid you know about this?â You asked as you were now stood with Jacobâs arm around your shoulder and Leah to his other side.
âKnow about what? Arenât we late already?â He smirked. Your dad and mum pulled Jacob towards the front of the house and out towards the car
âThatâs my room by the way, you canât stay in thatâ Leah shouted after him, pulling Lia along with her. Steph grabbed Lukeâs hand and walked out of the house and all that was left was you and Alessia.
âI hope itâs okay that-â she began
âYouâre amazing, do you know that?â You smiled, cutting her off.
âYes, I do actuallyâ she smirked as she pulled you in for a kiss. âBut we are going to be late and Anna is going to murder youâ she giggled as she grabbed your hand and pulled you towards the door.
You locked up the house and headed off towards the event. You got in the car, sitting beside Alessia, who was giggling about something you said. Everyone was chatting to each other before people eventually broke off into smaller chats.
âShe never mentioned they were togetherâ Jacob whispered to your older sister.
âThey havenât been together that long, they didnât tell anybody until a few days agoâ Leah replied. âBut it was brewingâ Leah informed him.
âHow do you feel about it?â He asked as Leah looked at the pair of you. It actually wasnât as awkward as was it might seem that you were dating the girl that lived and worked with your sister. Leah had never seen you look happier.
âLook at themâ she laughed as he did. âSheâs in love with herâ she smiled. You were holding her hand rambling on about something that she was finding hilarious and you were definitely not that funny.
âSo, what about her and Mel?â He whispered as quietly as possible, although there was a good bit of distance between you and them.
âIt was roughâ she shook her head. They had spoken about it as it was going on over the phone.
âBut thereâs been no contact as of recentâ Leah got out just as the car pulled up as everyone began to get out before it was just you, Luke and Alessia left.
âThereâs paps out there so maybe best you donât go in togetherâ Luke said and you nodded.
âGood luckâ Alessia quickly kissed your cheek before jumping out and caught up to Steph, linking her arm and walking in together.
âReady to go?â He asked as you nodded.
You got out of the car and could barely see straight with the amount of flashing cameras being put in your face. Luke was basically acting like your security guard trying to get you to the front of the venue.
âThere you areâ Anna groaned as you got to the door. âYou are due on stage in 10 minutesâ she handed Luke a clipboard who started reading it out.
The two of them began talking to you about how it was going to play out. There was a conversation piece to go through with the host and then youâd be performing the album. As Anna was talking and you were being micâd up, you looked up and caught a glimpse of the crowd. There was only a couple of hundred people there, but somehow you met her eyes. They had been seated in a position that they could see you backstage, however, the general audience couldnât. She smiled and gave you a little wave as you reciprocated the action.
âFocusâ Anna snapped as she began to speak again.
âHereâs the questions youâll be asked in the interview portionâ Luke said, handing you a piece of paper. You scanned through them, they were standard interview questions that most people would ask.
âAnd then youâll be performing the album in fullâ Anna inputted again, before stepping off to clear something with the runner about your instruments.
You loved to sing, but there was nothing worse than standing still on stage. You played an instrument to each one of your songs and switched them up to keep yourself entertained. For this performance you needed three different types of guitars, a banjo, which youâd now mastered, and a piano. Luke was running through the last bits of information with you as you heard the host greeting the crowd.
Eventually you were called onto the stage and Anna, Luke and the band stood side stage for this portion of the evening. For a crowd of just a few hundred, it sounded like thousands.
âThank you so much for joining us this eveningâ she smiled at you.
âThanks for having meâ you shook her hand and sat down on the arm chair. You waved to the crowd and smiled and it looked like a couple of girls youâd sort-of directed it at were going to collapse.
âHow are you?â She asked.
âYeah, Iâm fine. London traffic is definitely still crazyâ you laughed. âHow are you?â. Youâd done a few interviews with the girl before and you definitely felt comfortable talking to her.
âIâm great, thank youâ she giggled, trying to remember the last time a celebrity had asked her a genuine question.
She went through the questions that Luke had given you, it was all fairly straight forward. Youâd been through extensive media training to know how to answer a question without really answering it.
âFavourite song to perform?â
âLondonâ
âOh? Whyâs that?â
âI guess the answer to that question has changed a lot. But, that song is actually kind of sad in a weird way and sometimes songs can change meaningsâ you explained. âThe last time I played it, to a crowd, was at a really small event and it just had a really nice vibe to itâ
âThe last time you played it to a crowd? Do you sing your songs around the house?â She laughed.
âI played it for someone a few months agoâ you chuckled anxiously and looked towards Alessia .
âBest place youâve ever played?â
âMadison Square Gardenâ
âFavourite thing to do in your free time?â
âWatch a matchâ
âSomething you canât live without?â
âCoffeeâ
âLondon or New York?â
âLondonâ
âSo, how has moving back to London been?â
That had not been on the list of questions.
âIt was difficult at the start, I guessâ you shrugged. âI was quite upset leaving the States, you know, but my sister and my friends really dragged me out of a bad patchâ you smiled in their direction and then towards side stage where Luke was.
âAnd is there anybody new on the scene?â She winked as the audience all let out a few cheers and whistles. You laughed before catching Alessiaâs eyes and she nodded like she was giving you permission.
âYeah, Iâve been seeing someone for a little while nowâ you chuckled. âBut weâre enjoying just keeping to ourselvesâ you smiled as the host nodded.
âSo, youâre going to perform the album this evening?â She asked.
âYeah, Iâve brought the band over and everything. Weâve been rehearsing for a good while now so I really hope you guys like thisâ you laughed, a little stressed.
The crowd cheered as the band walked out. Holly handed you your guitar as Anna and Luke took their seats beside your family, Alessia, Lia and Steph.
âNow, please be reminded there is a strict no recording policy in placeâ the host told the crowd as you and the band set up.
âYou ready?â Holly asked as you nodded.
âLetâs do thisâ you smiled, taking your guitar from her.
It was a complete success, the crowd absolutely loved the album. It was such a relief.
âWasnât that amazing?â The host announced. âNow if youâll all stay where you are while we set up the meet and greetâ.
You were laughing with Holly about something on stage as both of your headâs whipped around to look at the host. You were sweating and exhausted from performing and now they wanted you to meet every single person here?
âMeet and greet? With everyone?â Holly asked as you looked flabbergasted.
Anna was straight out of her seat and rushing towards the host to see what was going on. She ushered everyone backstage, trying to get to the bottom of why they were expecting you to do a meet and greet for everyone in attendance. It wasnât that you wouldnât do it, but with the shock of Jacob home and how tired you felt from the performance, it was the last thing you wanted to do.
âTake it up with whoever marketed this eventâ one of the Spotify staff huffed as he handed Anna a contract that clearly stated it would be a meet and greet event.
âLukeâ she scowled at the guilty looking boy.
âThis meet and greet would take hoursâ Luke explained with a stutter to the staff. âHer brother just got back from Australiaâ he rambled but he was met with heads shaking.
âLuke, itâs fineâ you whispered, pulling him away from the conversation.
âIâm so sorryâ he mumbled, frantically shaking his head.
âItâs just a few hundred people, it wonât take too longâ. It was the last thing you wanted to do but you smiled and hugged him.
âCan you just make sure Alessia and Jacob get back to the house alright?â You asked as he nodded. âHow long do you need to set up?â You asked a staff member.
âAbout 10/15 minutesâ he replied.
âHollyâ you shouted as she ran up to you. âCome onâ you pulled her back onto stage as the crowd cheered.
âHello, everyoneâ you smiled. âThe guys just need a few minutes to set up, so we thought we could play something while we waited?â You asked as the crowd agreed with a scream.
âIf itâs alright with you, Iâm going to play my girlfriendâs two favourite songsâ you laughed as a round of âawsâ came from the crowd.
You played London and Northern Attitude as you watched her singing every word with Steph.

You eventually got home after the 2.5 hours it took to get through everyone. Although, you didnât mind, you liked meeting fans. You slumped on the couch, and it seemed like nobody was home. You presumed Alessia was in her and Leahâs, while Jacob went to your parentâs house when they realised you were going to be awhile. You flicked on your phone to see texts from everyone

You noticed that Alessia hadnât messaged you. You frowned and placed your phone down, trying to gather your thoughts before you moved. You were drained.
âYou knowâ Alessia smirked against the door as your head whipped around. âFor a celebrity, you would think you would take more notice of who is in your houseâ
âThank god youâre hereâ you sighed in relief, getting off the couch and pulling her in against you. She noticed how your body practically went lifeless against her.
âTired?â She asked as you nodded with a yawn. You both headed up towards bed and it wasnât too long before you fell asleep.
-
You got up early the next morning, leaving Alessia tucked in bed and collecting Luke, who owed you one for last night.
âI need you to do me that favourâ you said as you handed him your house key. âI just canât go in myselfâ you nodded your head towards the shopfront. He was gone for just a few minutes before he returned back to the car.
âI presume itâs for Lessi?â He asked as you shrugged.
âNo, itâs for my other girlfriendâ you smirked as he laughed. You dropped him home on your way back to your own house, where you found Alessia making breakfast.
âWhereâd you go?â She smiled, wrapping her arms around your neck.
âI just needed to pop out for a fewâ you smiled as you kissed her and began to help her with breakfast. When you both sat at the kitchen table and tucked into food, you finally spoke up.
âI, uh, got something for youâ you smiled.
âOh yeah?â She asked, putting her fork down.
âHereâ you handed her a key that you had gotten cut this morning with Luke. âItâs a key to the houseâ you smiled.
âSo, I can stop breaking in?â She smirked as you laughed. âCome hereâ she said pulling at the collar of your hoodie and pulling you in for a kiss. She pulled your hoodie over your head and threw it away. You picked her up as she sat on the kitchen counter, legs wrapped around your waist.
âGood morningâ Leah shouted as she came through the kitchen door with Jacob. âOh god, my eyesâ she groaned as Jacob laughed.
