Suspicious things in Wyzima palace
I feel next gen leads your eye to more details because you can have such a close look. Anyway, this is a table in Wyzima’s palace, in the study where Emhyr sits (or doesn't anymore after you finish the game).Â
It seems somebody just sat there, because why else would the chairs look like they do? And the book is still open. There’s two plates, so there must have been a visitor (the grapes look very fake, btw, didn’t know they use those furniture store accessories back then, but well). But the goblets... there’s two, but only at the same place. And they look different. The one on the right, next to the plate, looks like one of those ordinary goblets, while the one on the left might just be a wine goblet.
Now, let’s say Emhyr is just that pretentious to insist on different vessels for his drinking preferences, this would not explain why the goblets are on the side of the table opposite of the book. He’s not drinking and then going around the table to read a book, is he. But if he had a guest, why would the guest read the book? And if that’s not the case, why would he serve two drinks to his guest? The two goblets being on one side of the table just don’t make sense, as does the book being on the other side (do you still follow?).Â
And then there’s this:
What is this? A sugar bowl, a can for sweets? There is a bit of a resemblance to a ciborium, too, a vessel for communion wafers. Don’t think the cult uses those, but alas, what do we really know? Maybe it’s just a nice little place in which Emhyr stores some candies.Â
