⋆˚｡𝄞⨾𓍢ִ໋     𝙾̲𝚁̲𝙸̲𝙴̲𝙽̲𝚃̲𝙰̲𝚃̲𝙸̲𝙾̲𝙽̲  𝙳̲𝙰̲𝚈̲  ;  a  chaotic  nightmare  *&  quite  the  source  of  entertainment  or  annoyance  for  those  who  were  already  settled  into  the  routine  of  things  around  her  or  accustomed  to  the  island  itself--  𝒍𝒖𝒄𝒌𝒊𝒍𝒚  𝒇𝒐𝒓  𝒌𝒂𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒆  ,  she  was  one  of  the  already  settled  students  this  year  as  opposed  to  the  doe  eye  ,  lost  newbies  she  had  been  just  a  year  prior  .  of  course  ,  she  is  sympathetic  to  them  ;  she  remembers  the  stress  she  felt  trying  to  navigate  the  island  *&  school  grounds  alike  when  she  arrived  ,  the  pains  of  finding  *&  inevitably  introducing  herself  a  dormmate  after  a  year  of  having  a  rooming  mix  up  leave  her  with  a  whole  dorm  to  herself  is  a  task  she's  𝔡𝔯𝔢𝔞𝔡𝔦𝔫𝔤  ,  personally  .  but  for  now  ,  she's  focused  on  observing  the  waves  of  new  students  as  they  wander  about  as  she  sits  off  to  herself  [  .  .  .  ]  at  least  ,  that  is  ,  until  another  figure  joins  her  on  the  bench  she's  taken  up  residence  on  ,  skateboard  propped  lazily  against  the  edge  of  it's  seat  .  ❝  it's  so  crazy  ,  right  ??  everyone  looks  like  𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒓𝒊𝒇𝒊𝒆𝒅  𝒍𝒊𝒍  𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒎𝒂𝒍𝒔  if  they're  new  *&  just  so  unbothered  if  they  aren't--  i  saw  a  dude  slam  into  a  doorway  earlier--  looked  𝙽̲𝙰̲𝚂̲𝚃̲𝚈̲  .  ❞ 

banality   rarely   grabs   her   attention;   in   the   shadows   of   the   mess   hall   &   perched   upon   the   edge   of   a   corner-most   table,   the   vampiress   nods   once,   twice      —      violet   gaze   fixed,   but   mind   WANDERING.      (  ...  )      ❝   found   just   the   coolest   thing   here,   huh  ?   ❞      between   slender,   almost   claw-like   fingers,   a   quill   rolls   &   ink   scatters   scars   of   temporary   nature      —      the   parchment   lies,   its   edges   up,   guarding   what   passing   thoughts   she   has   left   behind,   immortalized,   from   the   other’s   prying   eyes.      ❝   i   suppose   you   want   me   to   show   interest   in   seeing   it.   ❞

Off in her own head, she's skipping the halls of the school, her two fluffy companions in tow, they never waver from keeping up with her as she's going at a pace they can purposefully follow after all, she is a vampire, if she wanted to, she could cross the campus in a second and leave her little friends wandering about about by themsleves but the last time she did that they got into the greenhouse and started knocking over precious healing herbs. It's a rainy day, but she doesn't mind; she can't feel the cold, and she's dressed her furry companions in knitted coats even though they are way too fluffy to fit in them, and the skipping stops abruptly. She sees someone --- in her mind about to drop all their things, panic, get laughed at the whole shebang, and this simply would not do for the first week of school. 𝖲𝖧𝖤 𝖢𝖠𝖭 𝖬𝖠𝖪𝖤 𝖨𝖳 𝖳𝖮 𝖳𝖧𝖤𝖬 𝖭𝖮 𝖨𝖲𝖲𝖴𝖤, scooping up her fluffballs, she darts to the scene, weaving between students, and she's too fast for them to even register. She's not meant to intervene like this -- Especially exposing herself out in the open-- but the sheer panic she felt in this person drove her to come and help. She stops a few steps away from them and puts her cats down, who are angry that they had to travel like that. She then quickly rushes to the person with the warmest smile she could muster on this horrid rainy day and puts her small hand on their shoulder.

  ִֶָ☾.   |    𝚃𝙷𝙸𝚂   𝙿𝙻𝙰𝙲𝙴   𝚆𝙰𝚂   𝙰   𝙵𝚄𝙲𝙺𝙸𝙽𝙶   𝚉𝙾𝙾   ;   being   shoved   past   *&   nearly   trampled   left   *&   right   as   she   makes   her   way   onto   campus   certainly   wasn't   on   her   bucket   list   for   the   semester   ;   yet   here   she   found   herself   as   she   attempts   to   weave   her   way   through   the   halls   to   the   dormitories   towards   the   mess   hall   .   ducking   *&   dodging   her   way   through   the   crowd   ,   the   tiny   brunette   quickly   dashes   into   the   mess   hall   ,   making   her   trip   through   the   food   line   as   quick   *&   painless   as   she   possibly   could   before   finding   a   table   off   to   itself   ,   away   from   the   ᵒᵇⁿᵒˣⁱᵒᵘˢˡʸ   ˡᵒᵘᵈ   ᶜʳᵒʷᵈˢ   of   people   where   she   can   sit   to   herself   *&   enjoy   her   meal   .   earbuds   pulled   from   her   bag   *&   placed   in   her   ears   ,   bag   sat   on   the   seat   next   to   her   to   mark   her   disinterest   in   being   joined   (   at   least   ,   she   had   thought   it   would   mark   as   much   )   as   she   begins   eating   .   cat   like   eyes   dart   up   in   a   flash   once   another   person   has   joined   her   uninvited   at   the   seat   across   the   table   ,    ̶m̶a̶y̶b̶e̶   ̶s̶h̶e̶   ̶s̶h̶o̶u̶l̶d̶'̶v̶e̶   ̶b̶l̶o̶c̶k̶e̶d̶   ̶t̶h̶a̶t̶   ̶c̶h̶a̶i̶r̶   ̶t̶o̶o̶   .   brows   furrow   ,   a   displeased   look   painting   her   face   as   she   removes   an   earbud   .   

❝   ᵁᴴ    {   .   .   .   }   𝚈𝙾𝚄   𝙳𝙾   𝚂𝙴𝙴   𝙰𝙻𝙻   𝚃𝙷𝙴   𝙾𝚃𝙷𝙴𝚁   𝚃𝙰𝙱𝙻𝙴𝚂   ,   𝚁𝙸𝙶𝙷𝚃   ??    ❞   she   gestures   to   the   rest   of   the   mess   hall   vaguely   .   ❝   or   do   i   just   seem   𝖙̲𝖍̲𝖆̲𝖙̲   𝖕̲𝖊̲𝖗̲𝖘̲𝖔̲𝖓̲𝖆̲𝖇̲𝖑̲𝖊̲   ??    ❞

|   |  |     ⋆.˚☁️⋆     ❝   yeah   [   .   .   .   ]   i   know   .   i   promise   ,   mom--   yes   [   .   .   .   ]   mhm   ,   ok   ,    yeah--   ❞    her   voice   is   𝒔𝒘𝒆𝒆𝒕   ,   𝒑𝒐𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒆   ,   𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒇𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕   ;    everything   she   wants   to   project   to   her   mother   over   this   𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐘   𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐗𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐃   phone   call   that   she's   already   spent   the   better   part   of   ten   minutes   attempting   to   excuse   herself   from   as   she   attempts   to   make   her   way   around   *&    get   herself   accustomed   with   the   new   area   she'd   be   calling   home   for   this   upcoming   semester   ,   although   her   face   shows   every   bit   of   exhaustion   *&   frustration   she's   feeling   in   this   moment   .    ❝   𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒌𝒔   𝒎𝒐𝒎   ;   i   will   ,   i   love   you   too   .   ok   ,   buh-bye   .   ❞    violet   sighs   in   an   overly   dramatic   huff   as   she   makes   her   way   onto   campus   ;   pulling   the   pamphlet   she   had   received   from   her   bag   as   she   begins   reading   it   over   to   try   *&   locate   the   dorm   buildings--   it's   in   her   distracted   reading   that   she   winds   up   bumping   into   the   other   person   ,   a   startled   ,   𝐃𝐄𝐄𝐑   𝐈𝐍   𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒   expression   painting   her   pale   visage   as   she   looks   up   from   the   paper   .   ❝   oh   shit   ;   i'm   so   sorry--   i   wasn't   paying   any   attention   .   ❞

|   | |     ⋆.˚☁️⋆     𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏   𝒅𝒂𝒚   was   always   a   chaotic   day   all   around   as   new   *&   returning   students   alike   make   their   ways   onto   campus--   luckily   for   camila   ,   she   wasn't   new   to   this   anymore   .   arriving   earlier   this   morning   ,   she   had   already   made   herself   comfortable   in   her   dorm   ,   now   finding   herself   slipping   away   to   go   spend   some   quiet   time   in   her   favorite   spot   on   campus   ,   the   green   house   to   escape   the   𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐋𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐆   𝐅𝐋𝐎𝐖   of   students   *&    school   staff   at   every   turn   of   the   island   now   that   the   new   semester   was   ready   to   kick   off   .   her   attention   is   sharply   *&    intently   focused   on   a   lovely   hawthorne   tree   sapling   when   she   hears   the   door   open   ;   warm   smile   painting   her   lips   watching   another   person   weave   of   into   the   nearest   room   to   escape   the   crowds   ,   at   least   more   than   likely   .    ❝    you   actually   looking   for   the   green   house   or   just   to   get   away   from   the   hoards   of   people   ?    ❞

|   |  |     ⋆.˚☁️⋆     𝐀   𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐄   𝐎𝐅   𝐒𝐂𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐑𝐘   should   be   a   good   thing   ,   right   ??    getting   way   from   LA   *&   all   of   the   𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒖𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒄   𝒎𝒆𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒔   that   remained   there   for   after   everything   she   had   gone   through   must   be   somewhat   good   for   her--   these   are   the   thoughts   that   have   been   swirling   about   the   twenty   somethings   mind   ever   since   arriving   onto   the   island   .   this   was   her   very   first   time   out   of   the   states   at   all   ,   a   fledgling   in   a   new   place   as   she   attempts   to   find   her   way   to   the   conservatory   she'd   be   calling   home   until   graduation   .   she's   been   wandering   for   what   must've   been   an   embarrassing   amount   of   time   before   she   finds   herself   surrendering   to   the   idea   of   asking   the   next   person   she   saw   for   directions   .   a   gentle   brush   of   her   hand   against   their   shoulder   *&   perhaps   the   𝒎𝒐𝒔𝒕   𝒔𝒉𝒆𝒆𝒑𝒊𝒔𝒉   clearing   of   her   throat   she   could   manage   whilst   still   being   heard   as   brooke   attempts   to   garner   the   others   attention   without   being   rude   ❝   uhm   ,   excuse   me--   would   you   be   able   to   help   me   with   directions   by   chance   ??    ❞
