Unlike the previous references (I.E The updated Justin and Louis from October), I decided that I will write down the notes here too instead of withholding them. The lineless art first, before I begin the notes.

Edward

Despite him being Mothman, or better put, based on the Mothman myth itself - he covers as a Zombie. As per original polls on the defunct blog of mine; that had been the original tie for his species. Basing upon those polls, some of those no longer go for the character (exam. the twins are no longer candy skulls.)

The Mothman is a large legend, so it's highly believed that people are just crazy. In reality, without getting a field of view of the outside view - everyone looks as they normally would in the normal IBVS story. This branches off of it in a more fantasy 'Oh shit theres actually more to meet the eye' part. With Mothman, Louis would probably freak out seeing a literal legend myth in front of him as well as the other jocks.

The way he changes from Mothman to Zombie is hardly known, it is something he's just able to do. I would think it's probably something to do per his powers - his strings.

- ^ When it comes to his strings, he can wrap himself in a sort of cocoon silk that transforms him to a zombie. When he wishes to change back, it's like shedding skin. It's really gross looking.

- ^ His strings are also technically silky threads, a lot gentler but still very strong. They're thick, and can be used to his advantage for hiding or otherwise 'shapeshifting' (it is for a very limited time.)

Unlike popular belief, light that is not natural like the sun, can disorinate Moths instead of just being there at your porch abnormally. That is why they're trying to fly towards your lights on your porch, as they follow light sources for guidance and is far confused when theyre off their path. For this to be incorporated into Edwards character, it has to do with his intuition. When his intuition is triggered, he feels light headed and it's like his gaze is fuzzy. He gets on a one-track mind and follows them frequently, kind of as normal Edward would do. The only difference is, that it tends to bring actual migraines and makes him sluggish for a short period of time.

Isaac

Isaac is based on the myth called The Demon Cat. It's part of american folklore, basically seen as an omen of dark tragedies. Usually seen as a normal sized black cat, turning into something that scares witnesses right after. Which, that's why Isaac can calmly switch between both human and cat alike.

His powers are also a bit more odd. The bag he carries, whatever object he uses must be related to something discarded. His old notebook from a child could be used, but nothing recently made. As well as his old brushes have to be well-loved to be used. Damaged objects will do more for Isaac compared to more repaired.

^ If the object were repaired and is used, then it only has a bit of a short lifespan compared to if they were damaged. It also wouldn't be as strong-willed in comparison. This can be problematic in situations where he only has objects that has not been used at all to defend himself.

-^ The ink manipulation is more then just ink itself. If an object is thrown in the trash that may have any trace of ink whatsoever, or maybe something that has been touched by a pen - he's able to pull it from the object itself at the cost of injury to his body (i.e the black marks scattered across him)

He frequently jumps roof to roof to get places he does not want to be seen at all. Which can result in hurt and ends up mainly damaging Isaac's clawed hands. He's not restricted to roofs though, it's just an adrenaline rush he uses when he 'needs to feel something'. He also uses it to escape Edward if he ever tries talking to him and he wishes not to interact

His ears and tail of course, show how he's feeling when he's feeling a certain way. It doesn't make it easy for him to hide emotions he doesn't wish to make obvious.

Despite his cardigan here, he still has his light-brown and black cardigan from his old reference. That will be what I may mainly draw him with.

Below Is Old Art

There is no lineless art this time, but rather old sketches I never completed.

Nevin

Nevin and Drew's powers are somewhat similar in the same regard as the original IBVS. However, they have their own unique differences such as the way they see feelings, and the more active power Nevin has; this is changed for the likes of the WWoLL world while also exploring a bigger idea.

- ^ Nevins super strength still existed, but instead of goo frequently dripping from him it's more as if he's drowning. The goo is treated more like a stream of water, this impairs his hearing and seeing especially if the black water seems to drip from his forehead. Though, it is not completely back but rather a dirty lake water. This strength has to be used with very specific precision with how fragile it can be,

-^ His blades are like a poisonous fish, they're laced with something that can paralyze the person while leaving a nasty mark. The poison is produced through the dirty water that settles at the tips similar to a snakes teeth. These blades can also appear on his legs, though if it comes to his legs he is rendered useless for walking for a good while. (he owns a personal cane decorated by Drew and Abuela, but never uses it)

The wrap around Nevins right arm has a broken blade that had gotten stuck in a tree he had tried to destroy. This snapped the blade straight off, and left permanent damage so it cannot retract. It was custom-made by Abuela.

When it comes down to Nevin seeing the feelings, just as the dirty lake water drips down his face during his backfiring powers, to them they are eyeless and constantly look disgruntled with more of a drowned look to them. This is only seeable through the ears and eyes of people; and depending on how dirty the color is of the water it shows if they are feeling good (lighter, clearer) or horrible (murky, unclear)

-^ This however, does not apply to Drew and some other supernatural beings. An example can be Chris, who is a gargoyle. This is because there is nothing really to interpret with the emotions, he is just mainly made out of a material he cannot detect.

Wasps and Hornets nest inside Nevins skin, which is what the open parts are. Shaped like a Wasp nest, they welcome themselves inside a place that they do not feel bothered or tormented at. These wasps can come out sometimes and surround his head, before nestling in different spots.

DREW

The way Drew can see the way your feeling is dependent on the bugs surrounding your head. All insects have different functions, an example could be a Walkingstick or better known the Stickbugs; these can symbolize the avoidance of those hurting you with how they mimic sticks to avoid predators. There is many types of insects, it actually makes up at least 80% of animal population - and not all of them are named, as how many theyre are means we hadn't time to identify. Some of these emotions can be unknown to the untrained eye, especially if the bug is not known.

-^ Another note is Centipedes could possibly be used, they carry very few parasites, and a good bit of them are carnivorous. This will be related to positive situations such as good health.

Drew has definitely grown accustomed to the forest life in comparison to Nevin, with his stubbornness and sneaking out he seems to be one with the forest. He can simply guide himself along for a breather. He usually takes Isaac if he can out, who isn't really interested in going at all.

The plants are not just growing on his head, he has a ribcage on his outside of his body. It protrudes in a way that is definitely concerning to a fair bit of people, but is naturally. It used to not be that way when he was younger, but every injury he gets tends to end up such a way (exam. the bombing of Foxfield when the rubble fell on his leg)

-^ The flowers and foilage appear from his ribcage, and his arms. These arm marks are because there is thorn branches running up his arms, digging and settling into his skin. This is also in his hands, where he has holes in his hands that grow out with weeds.

-^ To use his powers, he must be near a greater life source (particularly a tree or something) to intake the energy and use it to heal if he has lost it. He doesn't always need to do this, but if he does not he must recharge with lots of sleep since it can exhaust him.

Drew can willingly make flowers bloom, if he really wanted to. It's not ideal as it does take a bit of time but it's a thing he can do if he wanted to gift.

Drew's nature walks need a something to track - with that, he wears his mountain boots that helps him traverse big terrain. Gifted by Nevin, in which Drew appreciated the idea but felt offended.

PEDRO

There is nothing really to note for Pedro. He is a lot more turtle mixed with deer. It is really strange to see a very stubby tortoise suddenly grow such a way, with weird scaly horns.

Still a chill therapy animal for the most part, though a lot of people are afraid of him, such as Chris.

He does not leave Drews room unless he is given the go-ahead to bother and make Nevin, or Abuela, feel better. He can also be stolen to be taken around the nature walks.

Drew and Nevin both can pick Pedro up. He goes limp in such a way he looks uncomfortable but it is his preferred way of being held.
