hey :) one of my hyperfixations was WW2 so i just wanted to ask u what u already know...or what you're especially interested in
I don’t really know how to put it all into words. Most of what I know I learned from classes, Number the Stars by Lois Lowry, Band of Brothers, The Pacific, Saving Private Ryan, my parents, stories passed down from my great-grandfathers, etc.
I’m most interested in the soldiers, marines, pilots, etc. themselves. Their lives, relationships, families, how the war affected them, and whatnot. I want to know more about their stories and who they are as people. What they liked to do, where they lived, the things that got them through such terrible situations, and more. I wish I could talk to them, or even just listen. I want to know what they think of their experiences, of themselves, of others, and just hear what they have to say.
