84 miles down, 16 still to go!! I'm not sure how possible this is as I have lots to do today and a retirement dinner with work tomorrow. I'm going to try my best anyway! I completed 84.5miles by the end of yesterday evening, after going on a huge long walk along the river with my boyfriend and our dogs. The insanity programme is limiting my running capabilities as the backs of my legs are just so painful to run far! Finally bought my bike seat and lock yesterday so may manage to cover some miles today with my bike now. Wish me luck and motivation :-)
Only a few days left and still 20miles to go...crap!! My walking/running has been much less this week since starting the Insanity workout DVDs, but they have absolutely hurled my body with abuse, so I feel it was worth the sacrifice! I've been making loads of soup this week for lunches and dinners too and I'm finally starting to see results now with my body which is making me happy happy! Away for a nice long walk with our dogs to get a few more miles under my belt. 20miles in 3 days... what a thought!
Nice little capture down beside my house on my walk to work. Yesterday was 45 days to go until my holiday so I treated myself to a new bikini for the waterparks! Can't believe how quick time is flying. Tonight i'm going to try run another 3km as this 100 mile challenge only has 12 days left.... Better keep going and step up my game!!!! 44/100. And coincidently, 44 days to go until my holiday!
Spent my afternoon walking our dogs round a local park, getting a couple more miles under my belt for the 100 Miles in March Challenge. It's good to have companions to get you outdoors when you aren't in the mood to get outside and exercise. Tomorrow I aim to step up my game and run 4km. Let's pray I won't be suffering too much from the wine I've just bought for tonight .. π·ππ

"You are never too old to set a new goal or to dream a new dream". True - but remember that for real success these need to come hand in hand. Don't spend so much time dreaming, that you forget to actually go out there and make it happen. If I had spent even a fraction of my time wasted scrolling through motivational pictures and quotes online, towards good old fashioned exercise, I'd probably be much less worried about my body hangups now because I'd have seen the results I was dreaming about seeing myself, while looking at other people's success stories. Blogs and pictures are absolutely great for motivating, but don't let your motivation end there; get outside and graft so you can become your own success story! Setting goals has always been my best practice for seeing results. Always remember to set goals that will push you to work harder but that's still realistic so you are encouraged to set another. 19 miles down...81 to go!πͺ
It's a long way to the top! Went for a hike on Sunday up the hills with my brother and niece & nephew. Disappointing to see it was only 5km in length as I felt like I had walked about 20miles!! My 3 year old nephew coped better than me.... 17miles down. 83 to go.
