The crew of the Wisdom’s Gambit (aka Tetra’s mom’s ship):
Treble [Captain, Sail-Master, Main Navigator] the greatest pirate in the Great Sea, who has made plenty an enemies and allies. Her navigation and exploration of the Great Seas was unmatched. Had a carefree nature, but was not without her fury. Was known through the Great Sea for her excellent marksmanship. Rumor says that she was once just a girl from a quiet, secretive family on Windfall Isle. Deceased; died when Tetra was ten. Other names: Captain Treble, Tri, the Wisdom's Bullet, Zelda III
Tetra [Captain, Sail-Master, Navigator] Treble’s daughter and successor. Born and raised on the ship, she is keenly aware of all the dangers and boons of the ocean. She's handy and familiar with just about every role on the ship. Her young age disguises her quick wit, her wise decision making, and her care for all who board the ship. She wants to live up to her mother’s legacy, but tends to fumble in her own personal identity troubles. Other names: Miss Tetra/Young Miss, Captain Tetra, Zelda IV.
Gonzo [Quarter Master/First Mate] A big dog who is very aware of his size. He was saved from a rival ship by Treble, and therefore is intensely loyal to her family. He doesn't like to talk about where he's from. He has a steely gaze; he's a secret-keeper and master at stealth, but his hard exterior hides an emotional, soft interior. Cries at small animals.
Senza [Boatswain, Cook] An man of few words; mild-mannered and understanding. He used to be a ship-hopping con-man before joining the crew. As the eldest of the ship, he's practical and stubborn to a fault. Will have you hanging on every word he says. He enjoys cooking, sewing, and storytelling.
Nudge [Pilot] Grew up on one of the more stable, flourishing islands in the Great Sea. He is a descendant of a well-off family, and had a formal education. He's the closest with Tetra and spoils her absolutely rotten. Understanding and emphatic, but unafraid to speak his mind or call someone out for their mistakes.
Zuko [Gun-Master, Lookout, Powder Monkey] A young man eager to prove himself. He has the sharpest eyes of the crew, which is why he's on lookout duty, and spends way too much time up in the crow's nest. He claims he has Rito ancestors. Why is he in charge of the cannons? Well, we don't have anyone else to do it!
Mako [Surgeon, Carpenter] He also was educated, but he's a bit eccentric in his tastes. He's an inventor and adventurer, interested in technology left behind by the old world that surfaces from the ocean. Has the self-preservation instincts of a sea urchin. He's not mad, he swears! Just enthusiastic!
Caldera [Medic, Seamstress] Original character. A kind woman who left her husband behind to join Treble on her ship; she was the first (accidentally) recruited to the crew. Since then, she has gained much confidence and is not afraid to swindle you of a few rupees, granted you deserve it. She has a soft spot for poetry and dense literature, and likes to gossip with Senza. Left the ship before canon to settle down with Bassi. Other names: Callie, Miss Callie
Bassi [Marksman, Fisher] Original character. A silent man with many tattoos. The second best shot on the ship, after Treble, of course. He comes from a little island named Outset. He's good at identifying what fish are good to eat and which are poisoned. No, just because he's a fisher does not mean you can call his Bass, Mako. Left the ship before canon to settle down with Callie.
Niko [Swabbie, Cabin Boy] He's the youngest on the ship, joined just before Treble died. He left Windfall with no family to miss him, in search of adventure. He's the lowest ranked on the ship, and therefore is the butt of the joke a lot of the time, but he's actually quite brave and good at teaching and explaining complex things. Zuko has sort-of taken him under his wing. Other names: Neeks, Swabbie.
Link [Sail-Master, Cartographer, Swordsman, Swabbie] You know him, you love him! He's not on the ship a lot of the time, only really an honorary crew member who comes and goes from his home island and his own adventures. Tetra keeps on egging him to share his maps with her, but he's rather shy about it, for whatever reason.
