Is it just me or have you noticed it too? Old, abandoned districts renewed. What once stood traditional homes and trade shops, turned into cafes and boutiques, leaving behind only an exterior semblance of the past. But is it so bad, the idea of gentrification? Done correctly, it preserves the spirit of the enclave yet renews it for today. These are still spaces to live, to trade and to socialize but built to cater for the next generation.
