Hi! I'm the person who recently made a playlist for Where The Snow takes Us. I hope this is ok to send, sorry if I'm annoying you. I just wanted to share that "Try again" by Walking on Cars is literally the theme to these first like 20 chapters. And also I've come to say that your writing is incredible!! It's so eloquent and alive!! This fic evokes so many feelings and the love and pain are palpable! I'm also loving the parallels to the show and to the fic in itself and all the little nods to previous chapters. Amazing. I'm still not done but this is easily climbing to be in my top 3 fanfics of all time!! Thank you for your hard work x3

I just started playing rugby!! I’m loving it so far! What positions does the krew play? I mean, from what I remember from wtstu, I’m assuming asami is a winger or another back.

So, I see Asami as inside center (#11). She also subs in at fly-half (#10) sometimes but I think she prefers not to do the thinking/play-calling but rather just execute aggressively. And I’m sure she’s played 2nd row in a pinch and chooses to prop when she plays 7s.

I imagined Opal not as a rugby player at all but rather as Asami’s number one fan and an eager plus one for all the shindigs. But if she were to play I think she’d make an excellent scrummie (#9).

Bo is in the tight five, front row. Probably hook (#2) if he had to choose but anywhere would work for him. He would also probably make a killer #8 on a team of larger players.

Mako’s a bit harder… I’d put him in the back line. Instinct is fullback (#15) but I also think he’d be really effective at wing. Actually yeah, maybe a really really fast wing (#13 or #14).

saw this clip of a girl making an incredibly intricate gingerbread house and immediately thought of asami in WTSTU 🫶🫶🫶 happy new year!!

HOLY MOLY Asami would get herself a laser cutter for her workshop in their new house (she’d been previously borrowing access to one of Future Industries’ maker spaces) and then go WILD with incredible gingerbread shapes. Those kiddos would end up with mad maker skills just because that’s how they always spent their winter breaks - designing entire landscapes with her and Korra for each year’s house 😍
