Concept mapping
I thought that the concept map was a great way to organize my ideas. It did take awhile to organize it all and with my subject it was a little harder to make it understandable but it condensed everything. Yes, it helped to organize it and keep everything short and neat and to the point
Using the databases:
I used the school's database and I also looked at MedLine and EBSCO. I thought it was very difficult finding information and research because my topic wasn't as popular or there is much more research needed in the field.Â
Ease of finding relevant information:Â
I think it was quite difficult to find information on my topic. I varied the words like "chemistry," "nuclear medicine," "chemistry in nuclear medicine," etc. I didn't really have to varied them a lot because if I did then I wouldn't have found any information. I think there is enough info to support my paper but it sure will be difficult and it will be a challenge. Â
Quality of sources:
I found peer- reviewed articles and a book. I evaluated them by them being peer- reviewed or not and the relevance of the topic.Â
Synthesis of sources:
I think they do and covered them well not perfectly but enough to support it.Â
Overall reflection:Â
It was interesting reading what other people went through their research. It was fun to go through and read and totally relate to people having trouble when I was having the same trouble as well. The concept map was a tough task but I'm glad I got to work on it and it helped. This was quite the class very interesting and knowledge gainful.Â
