when you see the world through such a lense, it feels like minutes speed by like seconds -- that is to say, you are not fully aware of where you are, or where you're going, just that you're moving; and even then, you cant always be sure of that.
so you're standing here. colors, neons and bright kaleidoscope patterns shift about through your sickened eyes, as they do. as they tend to. and suddenly, you feel something impact your body, which you can never be so certain of anything, but you think it just might've been real. so you give a couple blinks, and a glance around yourself, finding that you have stumbled back into a different position you were in prior. a keen observation certainly, but even keener than that is how your eyes finally land on the source of the impact. you squint, and he looks oh so vaguely like someone you may know. but not enough.
" AYY AYY AYY!! IM walkin' ova' here! " you say, though you truthfully couldnt be remotely assed about being slammed into, " .. whaddya' think this is??? NEW freaking jersey??? " wrong "new" , right idea.
still, you put on your best imitation of a stereotypical new - york accent, even if you arent sure that's what it is, as some sort of freak attempt to be social, or at least lighten the blow.
