and probably i should just reread the fic instead of this insane ask but i keep thinking about this and specifically that for shane, the sex-hockey-ilya nexus is basically just. the christian holy trininity. three things which are also one thing and which are also worthy of worship. anyways. i wanted to do this in the notes and couldnt find the post i was thinking of. have a wonderful day

The Thesis of shane hollander. also "three things which are also one thing" is the perfect way to describe it omg like they're all so intertwined for shane !!

exactlyy, i don't want this fic to be seen as a complete condemnation of that tag because it's not supposed to be !! i just feel like the fandom has unfortunately taken that tag and ran off with it into the sunset to an extent that doesn't always feel like shane or ilya to me which is how i got the idea for this one

i am, however, fully condemning the nagging wife shane hollander trope 😌 let's let that one go please !
