(This is the oldest book I own.  I stole it from my grandpa’s cabin because I liked the cover better than the one I already had.  It has a very interesting foreword written by Tolkien.)

I’d probably do best with someone more outgoing than I am so that we could balance each other. Someone who loves animals and is creative and has a lot of empathy. Someone who thinks self improvement is important and is patient and could understand both my need for independence and someone to lean on. Someone who understands and supports my values and dreams? Because like, perfect skin and being a terrifying creature of the night sounds bomb af since I’m currently mildly terrified of the concept of walking around alone at night even though i really really would love it.Also like. blood bags are a thing, there’s no need for me to have to kill people unless they’re really truly awful people but who wants to eat garbage anyway?Nymph: Old-fashioned or modern decor? If we’re talking modern like, eclectic with natural lighting and cozy blankets and books on every available surface than definitely modern. Not minimalist though. I hate minimalist decor so much. Where do you put stuff? Why does everything look uncomfortable? Why is everything white? What happens when you spill grape juice? You’re screwed, that’s what.Tidal: What is a colour that best describes your personality?hmmm. I expect that’d be something that’s easier for other people to say than for me. Maybe blue? There are so many shades and variants of it and it makes me think of the ocean which depending on the moment can be soft and welcoming, cold and detached, or deep and terrifying and I realize that i can definitely be just as temperamental

The Blue Castle has quite a lot of leaves 🍃 on the front cover, mainly because nature is quite important to the plot in various ways.

My favorite romance novels are probably The Pink Carnation series by Lauren Willig. Not only is there romance, but also spies, intrigue and daring adventure.
