Get in my DMs if you'd be interested in sharing or discussing any thoughts/ideas/headcanons you might have for what a fic about in-universe post-canon Vi and Caitlyn taking in a Zaun streetkid or orphan (11yo) could be like, or about, or would be interesting to you. (How or why that might happen or would make them do it, plot around it, how they might feel, etc)
I know OC fics aren't for everyone, nor is the concept of CaitVi being parents. But I am feeling both overwhelmed by possibilities and lost as to what would be the "right" (aka that I like/will enjoy and feels fitting + hopefully would be interesting to at least a couple other people) approach to a story about/exploring that.
I personally want the "version" of the world and characters to not be too ooc or far out from canon or what feels fitting enough - but also is "self serving" enough to fulfill my desires for certain things
I'd just really love to hear from other fans and/or writers their thoughts or imaginations of the concept, because maybe there's something I've not considered at all that could just be the magic idea to help me actually be able to write a fanfic for the first time ever? Plus the feeling of community and stuff of getting to talk about thoughts or headcanons with other fans, yknow?
So.. random af question, does anyone have any good references (with names specifically) for different ways\styles for picking up and\or carrying someone? I'm writing a thing about some characters picking up another character and I for the life of me cannot think of what to call them.

Fellow lesbians, helppp
So ... today I was told (by a fellow lesbian, important: the context was 'false/harmful representation of lesbians by (non)lesbian authors') that because I am a lesbian on the aroace spectrum, I couldn't possibly portray a lesbian in the correct way, and that I should stick to my own experiences. Which ... honestly made me cry. She wasnt rude about it, but quite literally said she'd never read a "book line that". Are there others who believe that, too? I mean ... I also dont have experience in being a soccer player or a teacher. I douvt every author made the exact same xperiences as their characters did, right? Amd you learn from other authors, right? Help a girl out how to deal with this pls...
Does anyone know about a dictionary that focuses on sound and tone instead of meaning? Like I don't wanna know synonyms of feather, but other soft sounding words like plush and marsh or stuff.
