we're making it just a world that takes up the majority of the planet's habitable land.

so we'll have the town of Satelle, the tech hub Azimire, (both in the west) the southern tip Anchorim, the northern capital district of Aunistere, the floating islands of Aetherane, the eastern district of Fairra, the Astral Plain, and that's it. i can probably assign multiple Patrons to one of these locations if they're too big.

so radiant would have azimire and the surrounding towns aka satelle, ridge would oversee the mountains just beyond that, thereby being the closest to ray in proximity, wren would have aetherane and just under it is the astral plain, where ambrose is currently situated doing research on its properties while on the run for magic weapons trafficking.

prism's been given charge of anchorim and the rest of the coastlines, and is assisted by her dad. dusk guards fairra as the last frontier of the patrons, where the guidespirits supposedly originated and the centuries-old base of the patrons is located. he's the janitor /j. ember, as the prince, already lives in aunistere so he's overseeing that place directly under his parents. (it's not common for a patron to be from the royal family. this one is honored to have been deemed worthy by the guidespirits.)

lastly, jade, like ambrose, is constantly moving around, but unlike ambrose it's actually part of her job. she oversees the astral plain and the forests surrounding it. the government will also occasionally send out patrons to the smaller islands to make sure everything is fine.
