Every aspect of communication matters. You can’t pick and choose which parts to be great at if you want to be perceived as a professional at what you do. The amount of times I cringe in a day when people send me messages and try to pitch me a business idea and they are filled with spelling mistakes and poor grammar is too much to bear. Using emojis are fun and cool for informal messages but absolutely inappropriate for formal purposes. Same thing goes for poor grammar and spelling mistakes, starting sentence with “am” instead of I am etc. I will be teaching a Masterclass on Your Image, Your Brand so I will be sharing about how our image affects our brand and the way we communicate is part of our image.
