Does anybody have advice for when a flash drive just suddenly decides it is read-only? I've tried several guides online and nothing has helped. I'm using Windows 10 64-Bit. I figured that before I just buy a new flash drive I would ask around here. Things I've already tried: -formatting it through windows explorer, wouldn't let me - formatting it through the disk part command - removing the write protection through a registry edit - checking for any sort of physical lock switch - looking for individual files that were read-only (I found some, but I can't remove the read-only status from them though the right-click menu. This is probably the best clue as to my problem as this problem started at some point when i put some mp3s into a folder so I can use the flash drive to play music on the Xbox One. Apparently one or more of those mp3s were read-only and may have been what made the flash drive shit itself)
