Considering that because of food safety standards its illegal to go to work while sick, it should equally be illegal to punish someone for calling in sick when they have no sick time left (or in any case really). What in the double standard.
#capitalism#america#jobs#careers#write ups#on getting fired#fired#i wasnt fired or anything but this has been on my mind since hearing about how a coworker woke up covered in blood because his stomach had#ruptured and so he had to call out sick to work#obviously#and go to the emergency room. but because he was out of sick time he got written up.
