Ghetto gear: wrist rollers
Looking for a simple, homemade device to hit your forearms? Look no further than the wrist roller! All you need is some reasonably strong cord, and a wooden handle around one-two feet in length. Simply attach one end of the cord to the centre of your handle and the other end to your desired weight - could be anything: a cinder block, a sandbag, or even some commercial weight plates. To use: stand with your hands in front of you, gripping the handle as if you're holding onto the handlebars of a bike. Lift the weight off the ground by using your hands to "wring" the handle, winding the cord around it. When the weight reaches the handle, reverse the process and slowly unwind the weight back to the ground. After a few reps you should start to feel a nice burn in your forearms.
