Chelsea was glad that Wren had agreed to help her work on the car. She didn’t want to put Jay or Peter out of all the work they’d put into the family van in recent years but she also felt bad taking up their time with it. Especially in light of recent events. She did manage to get herself a little spot in the garage for the two of them to work which was all the better for Chelsea who, in recent weeks had become fond of being there since Peter and Jay were the only ones who knew the full extent of her home life. And with Wren along as well, she was surrounded by people she trusted. Although--Wren was still a bit of an anomaly to Chelsea sometimes too. But maybe working on this car together would change that. She brought her bag of books and the articles she’d printed out from the library that she thought might help them and had popped the hood to see what they were working with. Right now--she was just trying to figure out where the heck everything was, until she heard the footsteps behind her and turned to find Wren. “I hope you are as thrilled as I am to be out here in this heat trying to figure out how to get this old bird back into tip top shape.” She honestly wasn’t sure if she was being sarcastic or not.
