Cornell Augustine stepped out of the last line of trees of the jungle as if he has been on his feet for months and months, barely able to put a foot in front of the next, but still going, something keeping him upright. Something that was suddenly so close to him, the sun shining into his eyes as he looked at his daughter, his little girl.
“Wren? Wrenny? Honey?” His voice was hoarse, he hasn’t had water in a long while, but still he was stumbling and rushing over to Wren like the father ready to reunite with his daughter after almost over a year and a half being seperated.
