#IrishTV: BAI/TG4/Screen Ireland/WRAP fund seek new Young Peoples’ Drama Series

TG4, the BAI, Screen Ireland and the WRAP fund are on the lookout for a brand new Young Peoples’ Drama Series and they are calling on independent production companies to apply to develop and produce such a series for them.  TG4 want a compelling drama which would appeal to younger viewers, in the way that ‘Aifric’, ‘The Middle’ & ‘Malcolm in the Middle’ have done previously.

#Funding: Applications open for latest WRAP Fund development support funding for Film, Television or Animation projects. Deadline is April 30th.

Applications are now open for the latest round of Film/Television/Animation development funding from the Western Region Audiovisual Production Fund (WRAP), which closes on April 30th.

A development loan of up to €15,000 is available to support the development of a feature film, television drama, animation or game at any stage from treatment to pre-production.

#Industry: WRAP a new €2m fund to encourage film, TV and game industry in West of Ireland

WRAP, a new €2 million fund to encourage the film, television, animation and game industry in the West of the country is being launched today (Thursday, October 12) in Galway, the UNESCO City of Film.

It is estimated that this investment will create 90 direct additional jobs within the industry in the Western Region.
