The day had worn him down. It'd been exhausting with gleeful children and happy people running around everywhere under the hot sun. The mixture of heat and alcohol hadn't done him any favors either. When it seemed he'd worn out his company with Juliana and Genesis, he and Wes seemed to find each other among the masses. Their dark stars acting like a magnetic pull and caused them to gravitate toward one another. "I'm such a sucker," Kol commented, pulling the bunny ears Juliana had put on his head off. They were deposited onto the sand next to him where they were sitting peering out at the water. It looked inviting. Despite having spent the day in just his shorts for the most part, a dip in the surf seemed like it would be refreshing. Maybe a bit sobering. "Come on," Kol said to Wes without a look as he got to his feet and headed out to wade into the Atlantic.
