i am a little sad that atp ivory just got used to others calling her ivy

pretty cool that reddoons just handed ivory a pocket watch for free. thats it lol

when ivory started crying after hearing how much the people in whitepine liked her, i related to it to be honest. i'm also at a point in my life where hearing that the people i "bother" like me, or even know me so much that they're willing to interact first, feels so weird

im not gonna talk too much about this rn so ill just leave it at that

crazy to think that the lesbian flag sneak in episode 8 was actually a foreshadowing

(up until that point in the ep i was thinking ivory was aroace for a second lol)

the scenes about zombie sorta proved my analysis about him going from having his neck stepped on by emberton to stepping on other people's necks, even tho it was more about his career than his actual family. like yeah he is an objectively shitty person but so much of his actions are a result of him being broken down and melded together by the society he grew up in

really sweet to see the family (minus zombie ofc) coming together again just to cheer vi up. as well as how ivory pulling some strings, it shows how she did completely integrate into her small community..

even the part where izzy finally shows interest in vi's creations after 10 episodes is so sweet...

i am sad that the entirety of whitepine estate is gone now, including everybody who worked there, even though it makes sense since the place always had a "bad omen" to it.

it also hurts to see ivory devastated with the fact. that the estate she worked for, as well as the people she formed close bonds with, is completely burnt to the ground

(also i was reminded of that one whitepine video where the thumbnail was the building burning. i can't find it now but man i wonder how that youtuber feels)

while i was jokingly talkng about wp!ivory getting possessed by pvp!ivory for a second here, it does feel like she was showing parts of the other.

her immediate response to kantje doing all of this being to run after him and beat him up, her maiming him being second nature, the way she "snaps" out of it when he's limp...

even her talking about how she used to be a "violent person" despite not having any memory of her old life is nodding to that idea...

coming back to my point about wp!ivory showing signs of pvp ivory...there's also the fact that she seems to have survived getting sliced and beaten? or maybe just has some weird regeneration powers? it reminds me of how she managed to walk all the way back to whitepine despite borm maiming her too.

maybe it's just to show the horror of the situation (or in this case, the emptiness that comes with knowing everything has burnt down and you have to start over). and her being this sturdy isn't smth to be taken literally. idk.

reminds me of this post i made a while ago. i was right in the idea that kantje was targeting the hemlockes, but i was wrong in thinking it was for "revenge" and not for money or whatever

i was slightly put off by the cut from ivory breaking down about hurting kantje to confidently talking about taking care of serapter, but otherwise it's pretty fine

sorta reminds me of the awkwardness in "switching from different emotions" that happens sometimes.
