Day 153 (June 1) The grace of perseverance. {Note: Last cell meeting, I finally said no to Pizza (break na ta 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭) I'm proud of what I achieved, though. #worthposting #and #because #idonthavenewphotos } . For the past 2 weeks, the recurring message that God placed in my heart has been: pray for the grace of perseverance. At first, I thought it was because of the special project that we have for the youth in our parish (didn't make much headway yet); or because of a particular desire that I have but never prayed for, etc. But the past 3 weeks were not easy for me. It's one issue after another. Weighed down by it all, I had to drag myself in front of my altar and when I pray, I'd allow a few moments of silence to just be still. He whispered again: pray for perseverance. I love Him. I love how He prepares me for something that's coming that could overwhelm me. I love Him. I love how He never let me go and how He encounters me in my distress. I love Him. I love how He sends the Holy Spirit to remind me that He's waiting everyday in the sacrament of the Eucharist and He looks forward to my communion. I love Him. I love how He allows me to speak from my heart and from my mind. He listens and He responds. I love Him. I love how when I said: Serving You, Lord can be very lonely, instead of getting hurt, He instead embraced me with His Holy Spirit and whispered again: Persevere. (at Pareja Subdivision)
