This was the only non-Rayman game which I played on Dailymotion, other than the MediEvil Short-Lived Demo... Speaking of which, here are its parts!

This was the old version of the demo, which only had two levels. They are already on YouTube, including a playthrough of the updated demo and the whole game plus the unlockable PS1 version!

WORMS!

Yeah...

I'm not picking any specific game here, just any that is on a 2D plane. None of the 3D Worms bullcrap that Team17 experimented with. I am so glad they have left that behind and have focused on classic worms gameplay, I love that you can download the awesomeness that is Worms from the PSN/XBLA.

I feel everyone should own this game, simply as it's one you can just throw on whenever you want and have a good bit of fun. Creating your own little team of worms is always a special moment, giving them names and accents etc. They become your little babies, and you strive to keep them alive, but when they do inevitably die you salute them as the little pink heroes that they are. (Here's to you Arthur Pizza...) 

There's no commitment necessary except for the commitment to the moment. In the heat of battle you are committed to your team but once it's over they're fine and dandy and you can leave them till you decide the next battle starts.

These games are full of humour, full of fun, and full of genius. I've loved them since I first played Worms United on the PC all those years ago, and I will always return to a little match with my wonderful team "The 1963 Winners" whenever I feel like I need some Worms in my life.
