had a breakthrough realizing that oh yeah the best way to describe us leaving christianity is simply that, i was just repeating things that i was told but i never ever could witness the truth to any of it. i just said everything that i was told was correct, but it was constantly disproved, again and again, based upon my real world experiences. eventually it took me realizing that christians were just as likely to treat me like shit as non-christians and only queer people seemed to understand me and were the easiest to relate to, so we finally just Left. because if those people were the actual nicest people then the bible had to be fucking Wrong, at least about some things.

i dont go to the amazing digital circus fandom and have never seen it but im imagining if jax has Transgender Awakening thing it's bc he puts on fake eyelashes as a bit or smth and sees his reflection and there's a whole Eyes Get Big Like Feeling The Cosmos moment before going haha wait i don't need this rn. and plucks them off and throws them over her shoulder before going about her business. and no follow up the series just ends. that's the sort of vibe i understand this show to have from what little i've taken in secondhand
