Brad Anderson's "Worldbreaker" is such a tease, it's embarrassing. Starting off with a couple of scenes of action legend Milla Jovovich raising a sword and holding huge guns, the audience is given a promise that Anderson doesn't deliver as there is no footage of Jovovich actually combat the monsters that arrived from "the stitch" - these fissures found in the earth. No instead, Anderson implies Jovovich's action scenes in "Worldbreaker", making them tall tales like the one's about Kodiak that co-star Luke Evans recounts to he and Jovovich's on-screen progeny, to prep her for survival in a post apocalyptic landscape which really has no real set work put into it. The apocalypse in Anderson's world here is just a camping trip in the outdoors of Ireland. I dont know why Jovovich barely makes an appearance in this picture, but it's obvious her name and star power is the reason why anybody would buy a ticket to this snoozefest. That's why the intro of the film has Jovovich mugging the camera for about two frames, and that's really the best audiences get to see of her in the film, unless she's braiding her on-screen daughters hair or unsheathing a sword so well it made me wonder why Warner never used Jovovich in a Wonder Woman movie, but then there's no scenes Anderson captures of the action star actually striking. "Worldbreaker" is a grift, running off Jovovich's name though she is only on set for about five minutes while Luke Evans recants boring tales of some Paul Bunyan - type nordic folk hero that is sure to put anybody to bed that bought a ticket to see Jovovich do her thing.

"Worldbreaker" is a shameless case of bait and switch and a smudge on the filmographies of all parties involved in the making of this picture for betraying the trust of the modern moviegoer, just to cash in on the name of an actress that staked her fame on the tentpole of a franchise that was white hot over twenty years ago in favor of this misandrist trash.

Nuestra querisisisima Milla Jovovich está de regreso con una producción de las que tanto nos gustan y es la reina, películas apocalípticas con criaturas horripilantes al acecho y OBVIAMENTE, ella pateandoles el trasero a más no poder (risas).
