So I felt cool at workypoo today because I was talking with one of the guys from meat department and he is always so nice, asking how our days are going and wishing a great weekend. He even made my manager and I, ham and bean soup homemade! (prior to this he has told me his manager picks on him until he basically leaves for the day, I kept this in mind.)
and then his manager made a joke saying “look for a pretty girl and you’ll find Mike talking to her” and I responded “ Awww thank you” while making a fist to my chest.
Mike responded “You are entirely welcome!”
His manager didn’t say anything and left to do something else. I wanted to say something to him, but he already had work to do and my shift ended soon. Hopefully tomorrow I will be able to get a word in :)

I love how my work family knows how much of a nerd I am and how many times I got asked if I was attending Grand Rapids Comic-Con.

I'm getting faster at Sunday openings yessss
I'm happeh to say I enjoy where I work. The people actually love and care about each other.
They are probably the reason I stay plus I have reasonable co-workers and its never a boring day where I work and thats actually kinda awesome.
Customers may suck sometimes but once every in a blue moon chance of a bad egg? is really not bad compared to Meijer where every single one was a bad egg and rarely I got a good customer, which was very very lucky.
I feel pretty lucky. My work has come a long way and its improving.
