More ambulances today. I’ve pulled over for ambulances more in the last three days than I have in the last ten years. And we’ve only just begun.

My company has deemed us as “essential” and thus not eligible to WFH. Even though I don’t need to be in this office to do my job.

They put out a press release about how they’ve ordered anyone who can WFH to do so. But, it’s a trick, by “can” they mean someone who already had that ability. So...managers only. They consider that with managers staying home craft is safe to come in.

I emailed the Union, my representative, my senators, the governor’s office... I get it. They have lots to worry about, and I’m still employed and doing much better than most. Those hit hard need to be taken care of ASAP. I’m frustrated that the company makes billions, got an enormous tax break and essentially pays no federal taxes...They could do this, they just don’t want to.

I just sincerely hope we don’t make someone’s parents sick because they think for some reason that WFH means goofing off. We are children who need to be monitored.

i need to genuinely have a convo with one of my attys tomorrow

because i am doing So much for him lately (he picked up friggin’ SIX new cases ALL OF THEM in the mIDDLE OF THEIR CASES)

that i think he thinks i’m able to do it all

because i’m real good at faking being calm and composed

and i need to actually sit him down and be like

i cannot - physically, cannot - do everything you’re asking me to do’

#i've been reminding him for the past week i am not his only paralegal. but i have five attys.#but he picked up all these six cases so it's been about Him lately #and i've repeatedly voiced 'dude you need to appreciate what i've been doing for you'#which he sort of does #but i mean #m a n #workwoes

ungrateful brats part 2

today, gave out cd pressie to one kid who was absent.

kid opened the gift and ate without permission in class. it is not break time and they will be having recess just next period.

scolded the kid and he gave me attitude. so bloody annoying. didnt even say sorry.

wait, dont think he even said thank you at first.

i sometimes have dreams involving a colleague. and in the dreams we always talk and have a gd time together.

but in real life, it is not the same at all. mcm langit dgn bumi. we used to chat a lil and work together for projects but all we can afford now is the occasional corridor hyes and byes.
