Oh god I need to not-so-vague for a second.
Boss from my lab job asked me whether I can cobble together a social media strategy for our new products bc lab is slow atm and I have a degree in graphic design, too. And then she was like, can you make the templates color coded and so that I only have to change the text? And I was like, sure, what program do you usually use? In Design? Illustrator? Adobe Express? Some other industry standard?

I want to burn something.
I have NEVER loathed a program MORE in my entire life. Sure it's easy and you don't need any skills in design, but then your stuff will look like THE STUFF FROM ALL THE OTHER PEOPLE WHO USE CANVA AS WELL.
Like, the program doesn't even allow to control all the parameters of an asset or the font parameters or line strength (or I haven't found all of them yet, bc I never used canva before). I want to bite something, I want to throw something. The templates look like absolute SHITE.
And the kicker was:
"I want to start posting next week. Can you make that happen?"
Girl, my contract says 16 hrs/week. The design stuff alone will take MORE than that if you want it done properly. And if not, well... I will NOT stand my rep for this????
