Some of the things I like about her is that she's a fem. Not that I'm against mascs or anything, I really love all kinds of women and appreciate them.

But I really like how Velvette is a fem (in my opinion) despite being dark skinned. Because if you don't know it's stereotypical for a dark skin person to be considered a top or masc or as some people like to call "the one in pants" or "the man in relationship"

I was really scared in season two when I saw her attitude first because again it's stereotypical to make dark skinned women sassy and angry all the time and no brain all rage and talk (she didn't have much scenes so I couldn't form a stable opinion about her in s1) . That one one of the reasons why I didn't really pay attention to her much back then.

But with season two I saw sides of her that are not stereotyped.

First her body (I just noticed it recently because I barely pay attention to anatomy), usually dark skinned women are overly curvy and over sexualised. Velvette has a small chest and medium hips. This is something I like about her.

I'm not against any body type no, it just feels nice for an overlooked body type to be represented.

This is why I hate it when some artists change her body to the stereotype's standards (exaggerated curves and lips)

Second her style, it's not sexualised, she really knows when to show skin and when not to. I mean if you compare her style to Valentino it's so clear who's supposed to be a sex appeal most of the time.

And she also knows how to combine things perfectly, or how to create an atmosphere.

Her naked love potion poster whenever I see it I forget she doesn't have clothes on, I forget that it's supposed to represent the seductive drug because for me I see it as "look at me being showered in love".

I feel like her and Valentino worked together during the photoshoot, he maybe directed for the nurse outfit posted and she the naked poster.

Another thing I like about her is that she has a brain and humour and even remarkable traits.

She can be a lousy brat, she can be a bitchy asshole, she can be a funny jerk, she can be a reliable responsible person, and she can be a caring tsundere.

She has sides that makes you want to see more of her and if I kept talking until tomorrow I won't shut up.

I just like how she's portrayed okay? It's not like the fear I had in the first season.

Because whenever I like a dark skinned woman most of the time they're stereotyped badly or peak but overlooked

Thankfully Velvette won't be overlooked anymore in season 4! Hopefully!

I really want to see more of that woman so I can get more terrified of her and so I can understand her more.

Btw if Velvette turns out to be butch or something it won't really make a big deal to me I still try to understand those terms anyway.

But I'm just appreciating how comfortable she is with her femininity.

God I really hate it when people say she can't be a bratty fem princess because she's not white..some close minded mindsets really pisses me off.

I think the only thing I dislike is how centred she is on the other Vees. But again it makes sense, she's getting introduced more and more, also it made sense for Vox to outshine her in S2 and probably also Valentino in S3. So she better outshine them back and more in s4!

Then I started thinking again if Velvette is black pink coded or red velvette because she's in between for me

Like a lot of groups remind me of her (they're not from her era) but RV and PB are so her

RV have a creepy/magic like concept that they cover with aesthetics. You can't tell me that peekaboo and russian roulette aren't one of the songs that kinda describe her

Peek-a-boo is literally about witch girls that baits a man to sacrifice in exchange for power and their power energy getting boosted.

And russian roulette is about comparing love with Russian roulette and end up becoming toxic and hurting your partner because love is complicated concept

And for Blackpink, most of their songs (I am referring to the ones before 2022 so I am not going to include any song after 2020) are about being bratty and confident, enjoy your time even if it bothers someone, money, party, and ego

So this is why I see her in between, both concept of RV and previous concept of BP match her side in my opinion

Also I saw people say that she's Katseye coded..nah not really in my opinion

I might get flamed for this opinion but I don't think Velvette would like internet girl, she might only tolerate the chorus when trending but would wait for the second people to switch up on it.

So yeah this is MY OPINION. I really hope to see more of her so I can make a more accurate playlist

Oh and I have a feeling that I might see a VISON of her as a dreamcatcher coded too in season 4
