17. When you get a new fic idea, what does that look like in your mind? Does it play out like a film? Do you imagine lines of dialogue or a certain moment? Does a character just sit there staring at you?

lines of dialogue or snippets of conversation is definitely something that pops into my head very often! there's thousands of words of random one liners or short convos in my ideas document lol. sometimes it can be a single line or two as well, for example this fic came literally entirely from the first line:

Clark watched him fall from the sky like a raindrop hitting the ocean.

and i spun the rest of the fic from that.

other times it's more like a scene from a movie, like with waiting for the sun to drown where i had parts of the very first scene with clark under the sun lamps playing on repeat in my head for a long time, and then the scene where he falls from the sky into the manor's garden.

19. It’s a lovely morning in fandom land and a horrible goose is running rampant through your folders. How many WIPs is it going to step on?

the horrible goose can enjoy somewhere around 30 or so wips of varying sizes, counting only wips that have gotten a document made (if we're counting every single idea i've written down it would be over a hundred i think 😭)

- My goal is to finish my Formula One Bagginshield AU and understand how to write horror.

- I would love to write from Thranduil's perspective. He's very complex and I like that.

- Well, it's for chapter 6 of my Formula One AU. Here's a snippet:

33. do you start with the characters or the plot when writing?

For my fanfics I start with plot, since the characters have been pretty much fleshed out for me, either through canon or fanon. For my original work, definitely with the characters. I feel like a lot of my plot depends on the character's personality, so I work on that first. Not that I write a lot of original work...

40. best piece of feedback you’ve ever gotten.

Write, even if it's bad.

53. when writing, do you have an outline? and do you stick to it?

Sometimes. It depends on how I'm feeling. But generally, no. But for example, my Formula One Bagginshield AU (Love in the Fast Lane) I outlined the main scenes, then went and wrote them out and finally, I'm adding the connective tissue.

75. do you know how your story ends before you start writing?

Most times I do. But I like to let myself be tugged along by the story too. It really depends on the story idea, the mood I'm in when I first write it, etc.
