Strangely enough, I keep coming up the word arrows in my writing in spots where there should be something else. In my editing, I have often found myself writing the word arrows where the word re-word should apply. I have wondered about this and cannot come up with any reasonable explanation. I don’t have any conscious association with arrows and writing. The only thought I had was in relation to direction. Perhaps I am searching for direction in my writing. (Just as I was writing that I almost wrote arrows) This is beyond uncanny and bothers the hell out of me.
