Final Monogram & Wordmark :
This is my final layout for the wordmark and monogram together. I think this layout is interesting clean and interesting. The twoo subjects blend together into one to create a full design. For the wordmark I used ‘Twentieth Century MT Bold’ for my design. I think this works very well together.
Develpoment:
I have started trying out different layouts for my wordmark and monogram together. I settled on the ‘Stencil’ Typeface for my wordmark as I think that tit works perfectly with the monogram, it has the same feel to it. My favourite designs are the monograms with the wordmark on the side of it. I also think that the ones that go throigh the monogram look very unique and fun. I am not very fond of the basic bottom or top of the monogram wordmark placement. My 3 favourites are number 1,3,9. I like hgow symetrical, interesting, clean and easy to read they are.
Wordmark Experimenting:
I wanted to keep my Wordmark quite simple and clean to make sure it will go well with my monogram and future visual mark. I decided to go through different fonts and see how they would look with my monogram. Because the monogram is quite bold I wanted to keep the wordmark quite simple and in balance with the monogram. After looking at my research and inspiration I decided to go with classic fonts instead of handwritten, hidden messages ormillustrative wordmarks. FOr my samples I have used fonts like:
