What is up with this stupid ass trend of the ‘Nejiten’ couple never working out?! You know what I mean – that couple where one person is the cold heartless bastard who’s actually a cinnamon roll on the inside and the other person’s the more the positive sweetheart who can actually kick your ass.

1) NEJI AND TENTEN

Neji’s was THE most pointless death in the history of the Naruto. Like, what the heck? There was enough time for Naruto to fall on the ground, for Hinata to jump in front of him, for Neji to see that, then activate his Byakugan and jump in front of them but not enough time for one of them to perform Kaiten or Air Palm? Kishimoto screwed us over with the whole “Neji’s got to die for character development bullshit” and so many years later, we’re all pretending that Nejiten is still real.

2) WONREI AND LI-EN

Then there is Zatch Bell. Ya’ll be watching this show, looking at Wonrei and Li-en thinking, “Oh, what kind of Nejiten is this?” Then there’s that moment of happiness where they kiss and blah blah blah. At least they got to be cannon. But then out of nowhere this guy’s gotta die and BOOM! It’s Nejiten all over again.   -_-

3) LUKE AND TEAR

So in case you don’t know, this is from Tales of the Abyss. The show’s ending was weird and nobody understood it so everyone just made up their own interpretation. And yes, the Nejiten phenomenon happened and Luke died.
