Well first of all both those genres have such a wide range of sub genres and artists with a variety of artists so it's kinda hard to have Metallica represent the whole of rock, and Bach to rep all of the classical section, ya feel?
Also Rock already has been generally associated with negative things like anger, columbine, like it's jokingly called the devil's music for fucks sake while classical is thought of more refined, and "fancy" for a lack for a better word. Like there's preconceived notions about both genres before this study, and I'm not saying it's totally wrong but I'm saying there's a lot of shit to take into consideration yeah?
