“So you’re a glaive, mmh ? You’re not mad to do a hunt with me ?” Aranea asked, a smirk on her lips. It wasn’t the first time she was teamed up with a glaive for a hunt. It had happened quite often in the past months, but some of them simply didn’t want to work with her since she was a former commodore of Niflheim Empire. The dragoon always acted cool about it, but she had started to find it quite ANNOYING. Her past didn’t define her. And she spent much of her time with the king’s advisor, and when she wasn’t with him, she was often with one of his two other friends. It could be a clue about her true allegiance for some people, but some others were simply hard to convince. 

“Doin’ okay there? I know you don’t really NEED me to keep guard, but I figured two birds with one stone, yeah?”

“As long as you make the effort Granddaughter, I will be proud.” Nyx winks at her before finally shuffling off to get back to work.

Nyx smirked and shook his head a bit before patting her shoulder, “That’s my girl.”

“A lot.”

Nyx gave her a pat on the head, “It’s alright. While you work through it, just try your best not to glare at him. S’all I ask.”

“Are you okay?” He hung upside down from the tree, blood rushing to his head, not that he cared as he stared down at the human. His green eyes glowed faintly with how dark it was, so he might give her a slight scare. But then again, he was hanging from a tree like some weirdo. Honestly, it was just a nice place to sit on, the strange girl just happened to lean against his tree. She looked like a mess too.
