Apparently he’s part of a live-action anime adaptation ad campaign that seemingly didn’t take into account the large amount of people who would have an issue with a grinning, crusty pirate clown grinning at them, as well as the eyes claiming to be watching you that plaster your background when you click on him. Or if they did they were intentionally sadistic. Adblocker can apparently smite him but he keeps coming back, at least for me.
