Qhuinn shot off the last text to Clay, a soft grin curving her lips. She had hoped to get a little fun time with him today if he wasn’t too busy with his date. She and Margueax had had a terrific time, and now she was ready to catch up with some of her other friends. Popping into one of the little temporary bathrooms, she brushed out her long chestnut hair and even touched up the little bit of lip gloss that she wore, then smoothed her jeans and tee and headed out. The Ferris wheel was of course easy to spot, as was the wolf in front of it. Qhuinn smiled as she spotted Clay’s dark head towering over those next to him, and nearly skipped the last few steps before throwing her arms around his neck.

“Hey!” Qhuinn gaze him a squeeze, nuzzling his neck. “Having a good time?”

Smirking at his phone, he set it down on the bed beside him as he went back to reading his book, blanket drawn over his lap so he wasn’t fully on display for anyone walking past his cell. He had been missing the alpha wolf, they hadn’t really had a chance to spend time together since the New years Party. Hearing the elder had his house back, Cayden was excited, he had been wanting to see it every since Clay had originally mentioned it. It wasn’t after too long a time he heard footsteps coming down the hallway, looking up to see the professor. “There you are, was starting to think you forgot about me.” he said chuckling as he put his book down and stood up, slipping into his shoes so they could go.

However the moment he stepped outside he caught the scent of another wolf close to his territory. He didn’t recognize this one. Normally it was only Qhuinn that visited him. He really should put signs up—but then someone.. probably Mercy would poke fun or vandalize them considering the reaper was his closest neighbour—and the other was Faust, Benjamin and their slave and they all lived quite a way away. He liked his solitude.

And yet people always seemed to wander into his neck of the woods.

Still. He supposed he could ignore it for now. He wasn't really in the mood to go start something. He just wanted a nice quiet walk. Hopefully if he gave the other werewolf a wide enough berth they'd stay away from him.

Qhuinn had read the last text from Clay and shook her head with an amused smile. It sounded like him, but she knew that Clay wouldn’t treat Finn in a condescending manner. After making sure that everything was cool at the bakery and clinic, she got ready to leave. She had been surprised that Clay had taken her up on her offer, and was excited to help him. They hadn’t really seen each other since the ball though, and she hoped things wouldn’t be awkward..

After changing into a fresh pair of jeans and a vintage Fleetwood Mac top, she brushed her long hair back into a loose ponytail, fed Remus, then jogged across her yard and into Clay’s. Qhuinn knocked on the door then peered curiously into the windows, wondering what changes he had made.
