I feel like I should add that this just happened to me in a GC I admin and it was just some random furry coming into the chat and said that as a furry, they think therians are adorable.

Posting something a bit outside of my usual content, but I'm in need of some help. About two months ago, we had to take our dog, Oreo, to the vet due to her having pretty severe heartworm problems. We have managed to afford most of her treatment and medications, but her last appointment is coming up on May 9th.

In addition to that, my dearest cat, Cana, had to be rushed to the ER late last night with pretty severe dehydration and weight loss due to not really eating despite an appetite stimulant and support. We were informed this evening that she has pretty late stage kidney disease and her kidneys have lost a lot of function. She's my baby, I've had her since I was 16 and I'm almost 26. The vet says that with the right support and depending on how much she wants to fight or how long we can medically support her before she starts suffering, she has anywhere from a couple more months to a couple more years. I'm not ready to let her go, and she's clearly not ready to give up, according to the vet. So please, donate if you can, or reblog this post so that more people can see it.

Dealing with a really intense Trico shift and gods, I wanna fly! I can feel my flight muscles along my back and my wings and the whisper of feathers shifting over each other, but they're not. Really. There.

I miss running down bridges and catwalks and the tops of the towers before launching into flight, I miss landing and immediately breaking into a run with my wings still fluttering slightly as they settle back into place against my back.
